What does the copium emoji mean?

When you are running on pure cope and oxygen tanks.

This emoji features the iconic 'Biaoqing' panda face wearing an oxygen mask, symbolizing the act of 'coping'—clinging to hope or rationalizing a bad situation despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. It is a staple in internet culture for responding to failed predictions, bad takes, or losing arguments with a mix of desperation and forced composure. Use it in Discord to signal that you are barely holding it together.

When to use it

  • Reacting to a terrible take in chat
  • Showing you are barely surviving the day
  • Mocking someone who is clearly in denial
