What does the crying emoji mean?

A chaotic, wide-eyed expression of laughing until you cry.

This emoji is a distorted, high-energy take on the classic laughing-crying face, often used to convey extreme amusement or hysterical laughter in Discord chats. Its exaggerated, wide-eyed gaze and intense grin make it a staple for reacting to chaotic memes, funny fails, or absurd situations where a standard emoji just doesn't capture the level of madness.

When to use it

  • Reacting to an absolutely hilarious meme post
  • Expressing hysteria after a chaotic gaming moment
  • Showing intense laughter at a funny joke
  • Responding to an absurd or ridiculous situation
