What does the cute_gun emoji mean?

A deceptively sweet smiley face brandishing a firearm.

This emoji combines the classic, innocent 'smiling face with smiling eyes' emoji with a handgun, creating a jarring and humorous juxtaposition. It is a staple of internet meme culture, often used to express a 'polite' threat or a sarcastic way to handle an annoying situation in Discord chats. The contrast between the wholesome expression and the weapon makes it a popular choice for ironic humor.

When to use it

  • Responding to someone with a polite threat
  • Jokingly handling an annoying chat argument
  • Expressing sarcastic compliance with a request
  • Adding dark humor to a lighthearted conversation
