What does the dokihuh emoji mean?

A classic anime-style transition from smug satisfaction to pure, unadulterated confusion.

This emoji features a character with heterochromia transitioning through a range of expressions, famously known as the 'Doki Huh' meme. It is widely used in Discord servers to express sudden bewilderment or when someone says something so confusing it warrants a double-take. The shift from a confident smirk to a wide-eyed, blank stare perfectly captures the feeling of being completely lost in a conversation.

When to use it

  • Expressing confusion after reading a bizarre message
  • Reacting to someone saying something completely nonsensical
  • Showing disbelief when a conversation takes a turn
  • Highlighting a moment of sudden social awkwardness
