ink
What does the ink emoji mean?
When you are literally melting down from the inside out.
This emoji features a classic yellow smiley face suffering from a dark, ink-like corruption that drips from its eyes and forehead. It is a popular choice in Discord servers for expressing extreme emotional distress, burnout, or a sense of 'dying inside' while maintaining a facade of normalcy. The stark contrast between the bright yellow base and the void-like black ink makes it a visually striking way to signal total mental exhaustion.
When to use it
- Expressing total burnout after a long day
- Showing deep emotional distress in chat
- Reacting to an overwhelming or cursed situation
- Signaling that you are falling apart internally
