The ultimate expression of forced, dead-eyed compliance.

This emoji, often referred to as the 'Joe Not Trying Smile,' captures the exact look of someone who is completely over a situation but is still trying to maintain a polite facade. It is a staple in Discord servers for reacting to bad takes, awkward jokes, or when you are forced to be nice despite being incredibly unimpressed.

When to use it

  • Reacting to a very awkward joke told
  • Showing forced politeness during a boring meeting
  • Acknowledging a bad take with deadpan humor
