What does the JoyBlood emoji mean?

A hilariously intense take on the classic laughing emoji that takes tears to a whole new level.

This emoji is a darker, more dramatic remix of the standard 'tears of joy' smiley. It is frequently used in chaotic or edgy Discord communities to express laughter that is so intense it feels slightly unhinged or morbid. It serves as the perfect reaction for when something is funny, but in a way that feels like you are losing your mind.

When to use it

  • Laughing at something dark or edgy
  • Reacting to an absolutely unhinged meme
  • Expressing laughter that feels slightly manic
  • Showing intense amusement at chaotic events
