What does the liplick emoji mean?

The ultimate expression of knowing exactly what is going on.

This emoji features a repeating, distorted crop of the famous 'POG' face, often associated with internet streamer culture and the 'PogChamp' meme. It is used in Discord chats to convey a sense of smug satisfaction, skepticism, or the feeling of being in on a joke that others might have missed. Its repetitive, slightly grainy aesthetic makes it a staple for ironic or sarcastic reactions.

When to use it

  • Reacting to someone saying something obviously suspicious
  • Showing smug satisfaction after winning an argument
  • Expressing skepticism about a dubious claim made
  • Mocking someone who is clearly acting foolish
