What does the madtiger emoji mean?

When you're so mad you need a censor bar to keep it professional.

This emoji captures the classic cartoon trope of a character so furious that they are literally spewing profanity. It is a staple for Discord servers when someone wants to express frustration, saltiness, or a 'rage-quit' moment without actually breaking community guidelines. The tiger aesthetic adds a layer of feral intensity to the classic censored-speech gag.

When to use it

  • Expressing extreme frustration during a heated game
  • Reacting to a particularly annoying or bad take
  • Showing playful anger at a friend's joke
  • Signaling that you are currently losing your temper
