MODS (Animated)
What does the MODS emoji mean?
When the mods are watching, you better behave.
This emoji features a chimpanzee looking intently at a screen or document, often used in Discord servers to represent the 'moderator' presence. It plays on the 'monke' meme culture and the irony of comparing server staff to primates. It is frequently deployed when a conversation is getting out of hand or when a moderator enters the chat.
When to use it
- -warning users about incoming moderator intervention
- -mocking the intense focus of server staff
- -signaling that the chat is being watched
- -reacting to strict moderation in a channel
