What does the no emoji mean?

A purple, wide-eyed creature staring blankly into your soul.

This emoji features a purple, worm-like character with large, unblinking eyes, commonly known as the 'Purple Worm' or 'Purple Guy' meme. It is frequently used in Discord chats to convey a sense of awkward silence, intense judgment, or a complete lack of thoughts behind the eyes. Its deadpan expression makes it a staple for reacting to nonsensical messages or uncomfortable situations.

When to use it

  • Expressing confusion during a weird conversation
  • Reacting to an incredibly awkward message sent
  • Showing complete lack of thoughts right now
  • Staring blankly at a very questionable take
