soon
What does the soon emoji mean?
The ultimate way to say 'it's definitely coming, eventually'.
The SOON™ emoji is a staple of internet culture, used to mock developers, content creators, or friends who promise updates or arrivals without a concrete timeline. It parodies corporate vaporware and the endless wait for game patches or feature releases. It is the perfect passive-aggressive response for when someone says they will do something but you know it will take forever.
When to use it
- Mocking developers about delayed game updates
- Teasing friends who are always running late
- Responding to vague promises about future plans
- Highlighting endless waits for new content drops
