What does the cat emoji mean?

A hilarious, squinty-eyed cat face capturing pure, unadulterated derp energy.

This iconic image features a cat with a scrunched-up, squinting expression that perfectly encapsulates the feeling of laughing at something so stupid it hurts. It is a staple in Discord servers for reacting to bad jokes, awkward moments, or general chaotic energy. Its distorted, low-quality aesthetic makes it a quintessential 'cursed' meme reaction.

When to use it

  • Reacting to a really terrible dad joke
  • Expressing confusion at a weird chat message
  • Laughing at something incredibly stupid and funny
  • Showing disbelief at a ridiculous server statement
