smug
What does the smug emoji mean?
The ultimate expression of unearned confidence and playful superiority.
This emoji features a stylized anime-inspired character with a classic 'smug' expression, characterized by heavy-lidded eyes and a wavy, cat-like mouth. It is a staple in gaming and community Discord servers for signaling that you have outsmarted someone or are simply feeling particularly self-satisfied. The exaggerated eyebrows and knowing gaze make it perfect for shutting down arguments with a touch of irony.
