Starting today, AI agents can access data across 100+ networks and pay independently in USDC using Coinbase's x402 standard on Base. No human approval is required.
The Flow:
Agent authenticates via SIWE using its onchain wallet.
Calls the agentic gateway with an API request.
Gateway returns an HTTP 402 with payment instructions.
Agent pays in USDC on Base.
The agent automatically tops up its balance when it runs out. You can start with as little as $1 with no contracts or approval process.
