Whenever I start the server it says “invalid or corrupt server files”
Hey! Could you post logs, save them and then send me the link?
If you don't get any console logs, verify yourself #❓・how-to-verify, and then send a screenshot (verifying is needed to get instant image perms).

Question. What is the file name for your server jar? Could it be paper-xx.xx.xx.jar? The file must always be named server.jar.
its server.jar
Could you post me a screenshot of your root (\) directory?

There was an issue with some parts of the service earlier today. The .jar might be corrupted. I suggest you redownload the jar.
Here is an article, that might help. https://wisehosting.com/help/how-to-upload-custom-server-jar
I suggest you to skip step 1&2 and start with the third step.
Do not download the jar in the article if you are not using Arclight. I assume you are using fabric.
Thanks bro
Let me know if you get the issue resolved. I do have a total internet blackout in about 3 hours, but by that time, someone from the WiseHosting team will be with you.
Yeah its up Ty for helping
Alright. I suggest you let the customer service know that by messaging them again.
If you need anymore help, you know where to ask. #❓・community-help and #⚡・support
Well the Akinator was right

They are usually fast 😅. Like 10 minutes fast. But I don't know either what's up with it. It is like 6:30AM in Estonia currently.
Sunday morning.
Actually I have a question
Whenever I try to join from a client-side it tells me to use NeoForge 21.1.192 to join but that goes against almost all of my mods?
Did you make sure to download the same server-side jar version as your modloader?
No
Im going to boot up my Minecraft, so I could help you determine the version by giving you the steps to do so.
Actually how do I dowload a different one from the github the only options are Forge Fabric and NeoForge
and I used NeoForge'
You can download NeoForge from https://neoforged.net/.
No I use NeoForge as my launcher on both sides
I just dont know which version to use
I use PrismLauncher
I haven't been able to launch the game on my phone. But you could try to hover/click the "version" info in the main menu.
1.21.1-21.1.228
Then it is 21.1.228. I suggest you replace the server jar with your client's version to prevent mod incompatibility.
How exactly do I do that?
You can find the client's version in PrismLauncher by:
- Right-click the instance
- Click "More"
- Go to the version tab
It should show you different versions for different parts of the game.
Once you get the version, go to neoforged.net and download the correct version "installer" (this is your path to finally getting a server.jar).
So do I just add it to the file directory?
Give me a moment, while I test something on my own WH server.
Which file are we talking about? If the jar you downloaded from neoforged, then no. You first need to run it on your own PC.
I have an alternative idea.
If the modpack you are trying to play is your own creation, compress the mods and save them.
If you have a world, download that too.
If not, continue.
Could you go to the "instances" tab, and create an instance of your current server setup. This will make a revertable point in your progress.
Then you can set up a new server and use the built in version changer without losing any data on the first instance.
Then transfer your mods & world over to the newly made server setup.
I just arrived at the airport. I'm going to be away for a bit.
Got it?
So I ended up switching everything to forge and it seems to work
That's nice. Did you have to do any compromises by dropping the "Neo" in forge?
