Ever wanted to start over… but not fully start over? Now you can!

You can head to the Camp Counselor’s Office and use the disposal sign to get rid of all your gear, tools, armor, inventory items everything and begin fresh just like the first day you joined WisterWild.

✨ You keep your money.
✨ You keep your land claim.
✨ You just get that brand-new-player feeling again.

This is completely optional and not required. No pressure at all. I just thought it would be such a fun way to let people refresh their experience, return to the server, and create new memories together. I would absolutely love to see some familiar faces stepping back into the world with a fresh start.

To access it, warp using:

/warp Campground

When you arrive at the Camp Counselor’s Office, you’ll see:

- Our brand new signup sheets

Please remember:

The camp is not fully set up yet. The outside door is blocked for a reason. Do not break blocks to try and explore early. We can see all logs, and we will know if someone decides to get mischievous and do a little “griefing” heheh 😈

PLAYTIME REWARDS ##

I have started a temporary reward program for players for their dedication to Wisterwild. The longer you stay active in the world, the more keys you stack. To claim your rewards, you must open a ticket and show proof of your session times.

REQUIRED PROOF

You must provide two screenshots for every claim:

1. Login Screenshot: A clear image of your join message including the time stamp. (this can be done in #❀⸝⸝in-game-chat♡ since every time a player logs on/off it shows time stamps)

2. Logout Screenshot: A clear image of your disconnect message (this can be done in #❀⸝⸝in-game-chat♡ since every time a player logs on/off it shows time stamps)

SESSION REWARD TIERS

Each tier grants a different variety and amount of keys. Rewards are based on the total time shown in your screenshots:

• 1 Hour: 3x Woodland Keys and 1x Gear Key

• 2 Hours: 4x Gear Keys, 2x Mob Keys, and 1x Meadow Key

• 3 Hours: 5x Meadow Keys, 3x Yellow Keys, and 2x Green Keys

• 5 Hours: 5x Green Keys, 4x Orange Keys, and 3x Yellow Keys

• 8+ Hours: 5x enchanted grove keys, 5x Orange Keys, 5x Green Keys, and 3x Meadow Keys

AFK RULES AND RESTRICTIONS

To keep the server active and fair, we have a strict policy regarding AFK behavior:
- Idle Limit: Players are not permitted to be AFK for longer than 5 to 15 minutes.
- Activity Requirement: You must be actively playing, building, or exploring. Using AFK pools, anti-kick machines, or clicking scripts to bypass the idle timer is strictly prohibited.
- Reward Forfeiture: If a staff member finds you idling beyond the allowed limit, your reward claim for that entire session will be denied.

To submit a ticket to claim these rewards please use #»submit-a-ticket and please advise that the keys may take up to 72 hours to appear in your mailbox.

THIS WILL BE VALID FOR ONE MONTH FROM NOW.

As some of you may know, some of the recent new plugins are having issues. This has caused items to be lost. While we understand your frustration, and wont let it go unnoticed, it is also incredibly important that we keep in mind Turanga is currently the only person able to edit these plugins and permissions, she has a family and a household to take care of ontop of managing the plugins behind the scenes. Turanga is also currently sick at the moment, therefore doesnt feel well ontop of the server plugins not working as intended. Please be patient as fixes are pushed out for these things, running a server is a lot of trial and error.

If youre wanting to avoid item lose, I would avoid trying to break shulker boxes as you are not able to pick them up currently.
After the server resets, you should be ok to pick them up. I will say something in chat when I know for sure if things are officially working 🩵🩵

📢 Shop License Clarifications

Hi everyone! We’ve had a few repeat questions surrounding shop licenses recently, so we want to make sure the guidelines are crystal clear for everyone moving forward.

🛒 Standard Shop Licenses

• Cost: $3,000 at /warp spawn
• Ownership: All players must purchase their own license.
• Restrictions: Cannot be gifted or traded.
• Limit: Strictly one (1) per player.

💎 Premium Shop Plot Licenses

• Cost: $100,000 at /warp spawn or Tier 4+ subscription
• Ownership: All players must purchase their own license.
• Restrictions: Cannot be gifted or traded.
• Limit: Strictly one (1) per player.
• Plots: Premium license is required to use a premium plot at the market. You must open a ticket to claim a premium stall so we may verify ownership.

⚠️ Important Notes

• Duplicates: If you happen to receive more than one license, please turn in the extra by mailing it to myself or any member of the Cottage Crew team in-game.
• Compliance: If we discover any invalid licenses (e.g., gifted, duplicates, or errors), they will be destroyed. You will then be required to follow the necessary steps to obtain one legitimately.

It’s now newly organized and improved to make finding helpful game info so much easier. Whether you’re diving into enchants, perfecting nether portal linking, experimenting with armor trims, optimizing farms and villagers, designing banners, hunting for ores and netherite, or sharing random little mechanics you discovered, everything now has a clearer home.

The goal is to create a little knowledge hub where everyone can learn something new, improve their gameplay, and share the tricks they’ve picked up along the way.

Introducing the Wisterwild FriendBot!

Recommended to be the primary join method for all Bedrock users! No more IP/Port updates, realm codes, or extra steps - simply add the FriendBot and join!

How to Use:
- Add the friend wisterwild to your Minecraft Friend List
- After a moment, the bot will add you back
- Inside your main Worlds tab you should now see a new Friends World called Wisterwild - just tap to join!

🔹 The Rule Reminder
To keep things fair, all players are limited to 1 Discord Account and 1 Minecraft Account per person.

🔹 Need an Alt?
We understand the need for flexibility! You may now purchase access to 1 In-Game Alt Account that can be linked to your existing Discord account.

💸 Cost: 50,000 Wildflowers
🎫 How to Buy: Open a ticket and include your Alt Name and Platform (Bedrock or Java).

🔄 How to Switch Accounts

Once your Alt Pass is granted, switching is simple:
1. In Discord, type /unlink to remove your currently linked player.
2. Log in to your Alt in-game to generate your link code.
3. In Discord, type /link <code>.
(Repeat this process to switch back to your Main!)

Note: If you've already purchased, you should have access to the commands. If not, please open a ticket and we will get you situated

⚠️ Important Restrictions

• No Double Dipping: Alts do not receive subscriber benefits and cannot claim rewards (Hourlies, Dailies, or Lucky Purchases).
• Separate Storage: Alts do not share a mailbox, inventory, enderchest or balance with your Main account; they have their own separate inventory and identity.
• One at a Time: Both accounts cannot be logged in simultaneously.

🤔 Why would I need this?

Alts are designed for temporary access when you can't log in to your main setup! This gives you the freedom to connect from other places, like checking in on your phone during a lunch break, or when you are visiting your cousin's uncle's half brother's step niece in law. 🏡

Back to Roots Program update: ##

This post serves as an early announcement for the Back to Roots Program. While the program is not fully ready, the core systems are being set up and will be available soon.

A dedicated warp will be added that takes players directly to my office. Inside the office, you will find two disposal signs, along with the future sign-up area for the 12-week Back to Roots program. The campground area is currently under construction.

The intention behind Back to Roots is simple:
to recreate the experience of being a brand-new player again not by resetting the server, but by choosing to reset yourself.

Item Disposal System #

Players who choose to participate will be given the option to dispose of their existing items.

FAQ: What happens if I dispose of my items? Will I get them back? What can I dispose of?

The purpose of this system is to let players release end-game progression and return to early survival gameplay. Any item disposed of is permanently removed and will not be returned. You may dispose of anything you currently own, including Tools and gear, Materials and resources, Keys, Money, Eggs and special items

You will keep your land claim and your currency balance.

Back to Roots is intended primarily for long-term players who:
- Have been part of the server since early stages
- Have reached netherite or end-game progression
- Feel that there is little left to work toward

The 12-Week Camp Program

Players may optionally sign up for the 12-week Back to Roots program. Think of it as a survival-focused camp experience, similar to summer camp or scout programs.

Participants in the program will:

Live, sleep, and eat at the campground for the full 12 weeks
Complete all program activities on-site at camp
Progress through early-game survival challenges

Just like a real camp experience, participants are allowed to return home on weekends.

Small Update / Crate Refresh ##

If something is on the calendar and doesn’t happen right away, it doesn’t mean it’s been forgotten or cancelled. Sometimes things need to be delayed, and that’s just part of running a server as a small team. Wisterwild is worked on in our own time, and outside of Minecraft we still have real-life responsibilities like work, school, health, and unexpected situations.

If an event or update doesn’t happen as planned, we ask for a little patience while we either reschedule or it gets moved later in the day, etc! We promise we’ll communicate what is happening/if something gets delayed, etc.

Regarding today’s crate update: it may be delayed since T isn’t feeling well. We really appreciate everyone’s understanding while health comes first.

Thank you for being patient with us and for being part of Wisterwild. We love creating things for this community, and your kindness and understanding make it possible for us to keep doing so.

🧠 Introducing: Lobotomized Villagers!

We have a fun new feature to help you manage your trading halls and keep the server running smoothly!

What does it do?
"Lobotomizing" a villager simply removes their AI pathfinding. In standard Minecraft, villagers in trading halls are constantly trying to walk or find a path, even when trapped. This is often the #1 cause of server lag!

Once lobotomized, the villager stops calculating movement and freezes in place, significantly reducing lag for everyone.

How do I use it?
* Automatic: Villagers should automatically become lobotomized if they are completely trapped (e.g., inside a 1x1 trading cell).
* Manual: You can manually toggle a villager's brain off by using a nametag named "nobrain".
* Reversing it: To un-lobotomize them (give them their brain back), simply rename them with any other nametag.

💡 You can grab free nametags from the main house at /warp market.

⚠️ Important Notes:
* Iron Farms & Breeders: Lobotomized villagers cannot breed or "gossip" and won't be afraid of a zombie. Do not use this on villagers in Iron Farms (golems won't spawn) or Breeders (babies won't happen).
* Zombification: Zombies will not attack lobotomized villagers. If you are trying to zombify/cure a villager for discounts, you must un-set (un-lobotomize) them first!
* Containment: Even though they can't move, keep them contained! When we reload the plugin/server, they may momentarily regain their AI and try to wander off before the plugin freezes them again.
* Job Locking: They will restock trades as normal, but they cannot link to new workstations while lobotomized. Make sure they have locked in their job and station before you remove their brain.

Please make sure to lobotomize villagers at your trade hall to prevent lag! There's no need for them to be constantly pathfinding.

​♻️ Floating Item Purge Added!

​To keep the server running smooth and lag-free, I've custom-coded a cleanup system!

• ​The Warning: If you reach the limit for floating items in your area, you’ll get a 20-second warning on your screen.

• ​The Action: Pick them up quickly! Once the timer hits zero, those items are purged forever.

​Why? Every dropped item is an entity. Leaving 200 items on the ground is a massive strain on the server—please help us keep things snappy by picking up after your builds/mines!

The abyss is no more. The plugin we were using does not function with recent updates and they do not have a fix. I'm unable to create or find a similar lag-free version that doesn't generate more lag than it resolves.

Tree leaves should now disappear once all logs have been cleared
