Meet , the dev behind Pimbolas, in our Dev Q&A ⚽
Q: What was the hardest part to get right during Pimbolas’ development?
A: The game feel, because it’s the foundation of everything. Turning foosball actions into interactions that feel smooth, fun, and satisfying.
Q: Which part of the development do you think players won’t really notice, but you’re extremely proud to have included in the demo?
A: Probably the sound design! Every time the player scores a goal, a new instrument is added to the music, making the vibe much more intense as the match goes on.
Q: What type of player do you think will love Pimbolas the most: casual or hardcore?
A: Both! You can play casually with friends just for fun, or try to beat the arenas and teams in Arcade mode, which is reaaaally hard.
Q: Which soccer player do you think would be good at Pimbolas?
A: I’d say R9 (The Phenomenon). Besides being an incredible football player, he also plays video games, and his son Ronald has already liked a Pimbolas post! Fun fact 😄
Huge thanks to Baptixta for this Dev Q&A! 🧡
