welcome to the moderation team! As a moderator, you represent the server, passion, and impressions, Our ultimate goal is to maintain a sweet or semi-tox, safe, and welcoming environment where everyone feels appreciated.

Please review and adhere to the following rules and operational procedures.

1. • lead with Kindness: Mitsuri sees the good in everyone. Treat members with respect, patience, and a welcoming attitude. Avoid being overly harsh, sarcastic, or power-tripping.

during conflicts, mods must remain level-headed. Base your actions on rules, not personal biases.

2. • Protect the Squad: Just as a Hashira protects humanity, your job is to shield our community members from toxicity, harassment, and discomfort.

3. • Confidentiality: What happens in the staff channels stays in the staff channels. Do not leak mod discussions, upcoming events, or user punishment histories.

4. • No Mini-Modding Encouragement: Do not let regular users handle rule-breakers. Address situations yourself and gently remind helpful users to use the report/ping system instead.

5. • Consistent Enforcement: Rules apply to everyone, including boosters, active chatters, and friends of the staff. No exceptions.

6. • Mod Persona: Keep your public moderation actions clean and professional. If you need to issue a public warning, use a clear, neutral tone.

7. • When handling rule violations, use this standardized escalation process unless the offense is severe enough to warrant an immediate ban.

1. Verbal Warning: For minor first-time offenses (e.g., slight off-topic chatting, spamming emojis). Politely ask the user to stop in the public channel or via DM.

2. Official Mute/Timeout: For repeated minor offenses or moderate violations (e.g., minor arguments, ignoring verbal warnings, posting mild NSFW content).
- Duration: 1 to 24 hours depending on severity.

3. Kick: For continuous disruptions, severe disrespect to staff, or refusal to follow community guidelines after a timeout.

4. Permanent Ban: Reserved for severe violations. Instant bans apply to:
- Raiding or encouraging server raids.
- Posting explicit NSFW/NSFL content, gore, or illegal material.
- Hate speech, severe harassment, or slurs.
- Doxxing or threatening other members.

8. • De-escalate First: If an argument breaks out, your first step is to calm the chat down. Use phrases like, "Let's take a deep breath and change the subject" or "Please take this debate to DMs so we can keep the chat cozy."

9. • Two-Mod Rule for Bans: Unless it is an emergency (like a severe raid or explicit NSFW spam), consult at least one other moderator or Admin before issuing a permanent ban.

10. • Log Everything: Always include a clear reason when muting, kicking, or banning a user. Update the mod logs immediately so the rest of the team stays informed.

11. • step Back When Emotional: If a user is making you angry, step away from the situation and tag another moderator to handle it.

12. • respect the hierarchy: If an Admin or Server Owner makes a final decision on a situation, respect it. If you disagree, discuss it privately in the staff channels, never in public.

13. • take breaks! if you need to step away from working due to personal responsibilities/problems, or high level working, tell us mods that you’ll be gone for a few or more days.

14. • when handling a ticket, make sure to rename the issue the user is having, also claim tickets. if there’s something you can not do, tag us owners!

15. • every 7-31 days make a promotion video. promotion videos help our server growth enhance, do NOT promote our server without permission into other servers, it might be discarding the rules.

16. • host a event every week or so, events are fun, enjoyable activities that everyone can join!
