Punishing the output doesn't always work if u never even try to look and fix the input cos in the end the victims will still suffer throughout it all and some ppl will still choose to commit these crimes
At least trying to deal with the internal issues could somehow fix the problem, no point forcing all the energy on the output when the crimes have already been done and could've never happened in the first place
By all means punish those who commited the crimes but not JUST that, more should be done

Some but most perhaps even tho Some of these criminals turns out theyre either decent human beings or somewhat alright due to false allegations upon theirselves against victims type thing
i mean the law doesn't excuse your action no matter how good your reason is, so of course some of those criminals are not that bad.
