and we are waking up to the bs we do not have to put up with so marriage and child birth rates are dropping and its mens fault for not acting right
I have a different opinion on this, as a woman I think it is indeed worth it. Just enjoy the joy that dating and marriage gives you. Fight for your relationship, bc loving someone is the best feeling. But if you notice that your partner starts to disrespect you or try to make you do things that you don't want to (Like chores in your cas) then you can just break up.
I'm saying it goes both ways, there has to be mutual respect and there isn't any in America anymore, that's why the divorce rate is over 50%. Not a mens problem, it's an American culture problem. I'm sure women cheat in marriages just as much as men do
Sacred bond as in for both people, not just one side. If you think it's sacred of course you are going to respect your spouse.
But not that way in America anymore, women marry for money and status, men marry for looks

thats the exception that they wont change as u progress in ur relationship especially since men are very transactional I feel like majority of married people dont experience this and its cute in theory but men will always lean into the patriarchy when it benefits them if it becomes stopping helping with chores or not cooking / slacking when raising the kids

well if u think divorcce rates are low in these countries due to so called 'Sacred bond'..then u are very wrong
The main reason of divorce rate being low is cuz of societal pressure..women or even men dont have that sort of freedom that they can take divorce easily

in case of women sometimes even family of women dont support the decision of divorce by their daughter

That's not even an easily answerable question anyways because it depends on a lot of factors. Does the partner regret it, are they asking for forgiveness, do they seem sincere, are you happy in the marriage, etc
I mean, you aren't completely wrong IMO, coming from a married man.
I believe statistically 40% of marriages end in divorce. So let's say 6/10 marriages last. Out of those 6, how many are happy? How many stay together for the kids? How many stay together for the finances? How many have forgiven their partners for cheating etc. The more things you name, the lower that number gets. I would guess it's safe to say MOST loving marriages don't last, divorce or not. So you aren't wrong with being the rule, not the exception.
I would question your sources on the quality of life and life expectancy stats however. From what I've read, it seems both men and women life longer, more active lives when they are married compared to when they are single. You are right to say men live longer in these relationships, which surprised me as i always heard that women have higher life expectancies than men and often outlive their husbands. But i guess this is more so due to women marrying men older than themselves apparently.
As for the whole men having someone to cook and care for them and their kids, idk how much of this is statistics vs an anti-man bias lol...everyone can make their own choices and roles within their relationships. My wife and I both work and take care of our kids. She does more cooking, I do more dishes and laundry. You can be equal and make things work out without having a woman do it all.
Maybe dating and marriage isn't worth it for you, and that is ok. But for plenty of people it is worth it
I don't have expierence how it is after the marriage, if they will stop helping w chores ect. bc I've never been married, but I've seen so many marriages end up looking like that. I've only in the dating phase, so maybe the solution could be to stay in the dating phase?

And most cases men are usually the ones who cheat
Or of most cases the marriage is a abusive one
