But I wonder if AI is really changing humanity itself, or just changing the way we perceive what humanity has always been.
The job I mean, if I take a PhD in humanity, would it go to waste one day? Not that the PhD offers many opportunities either.
Wouldn't it be better to consider other paths?
Got u , But I don’t think AI necessarily makes a PhD in humanities pointless........... If anything, AI raises even more questions about humanity, ethics, culture and what makes us human. The bigger concern is probably whether there’ll be enough opportunities to actually use that knowledge .
Maybe ... yeah..... I would definitely explore other options before committing to a PhD, but if humanities is genuinely what u r passionate about, I would nt drop it just because AI is changing things. You could probably find a way to combine the two... IG
Which is why I'm thinking about taking the Artificial intelligence path but, I was an art student before, not science. Everything is overwhelming me haha...
If the legal path isn't that populated, I would have taken it along with my bestie.
Why do I want to be a Lawyer? Because my talents always remain internal that I need something to make everyone look at me with the same attention they view my other succeeding cousins.

Honestly, don’t stress yourself out too much 😭 if AI genuinely interests you... just explore it and see where it takes you.... Being an art student does not mean u can not get into it. u will just have to start from zero, that’s all.
