Right is crazy
I never thought of it like that. You might be onto something.
I can give u good idras

If u want
Not to mention not everybody is about the symbolism about themselves, it could be about other people. For one of my stories, it's not based off me. I may have projected onto my main character but that was mostly it and the book I'm working on rn isn't about me at all. Each charis different and the topic is about like uh eu genics
Yeah but if you would ask me, every chatacter is a part of your unconscious, since the character is in a sense your own creation that you've created using your unconscious.
Of course, all authors do not write about themselves in fiction. Or else that text would be autobiographical or non-fiction.
Interesting topic btw
I mean yeah but that doesn't mean that's what their book is based on
It's not on purpose
I felt like doin smt I could also research on
I am NOT interested in DOING eu genics chat just writing about to 😭
I can't lie, doing objective research on something that is subjective seems very peculiar.
It's a very interesting subject
Authors often do the complete opposite, especially magical realist authors, only focusing on symbolisms.
Like I bet if I asked you you might not know about plum island
A sci-fi eugenics dystopian work would be pretty fire. I can't lie.
Hope yall have a great night/day!
One of the books I have basically finished (just need to have someone finish proof reading and i need to edit) is about two characters essentially ghost hunting and the other I'm working on with my friend since eight grade is completely opposite and is more so about found family
But I am not a big fan of genre fiction.
You too gang
You too gn.
Nice
Idrk all the basics yet for my book on eu genics, just that I want to strongly incorporate that. It's on an island, secret, four "main" characters definitely killing one of em. The names are low-key Lamar, Pansy, Maddox, and Loyal. Furthermore there is prolly some symbolism in Loyal's name i have mad plans for them
And Lamar is named after Kendrick Lamar 💔 just felt like it
Heh
Kendrick Lamar my goat
Yeah, but, what's the moral?
Wdym
Is it trying to push forward a message through any themes?
STAR WARS
Is thst it?
I was tryna figure out why your name was familiar

I treat the purpose of a text quite like the structure of a building. And entertainment as the walls and the windows of the building.
Entertainment is only there to engage the audience. Of course, without entertainment our audience would be bored to death.
Often the great works push forward a message, while entertaining the audience.
I'm dumb what are you getting at with what I got
Wdym
Not getting anywhere.
I'm simply stating the fact of the matter that fiction should transcend the reader. Really touch the deepest part of the readers soul. To do that, there has to be themes that really push forward a message onto the future generations to come.
That's how classics are made.
Think of it like this
Nah nah nah nah don't play
Kendrick has good beats, correct?
Of course he does.
Oh well yeah
But, what makes his music so good is the purpose of his lyrics
I did say I haven't really got the basics yet
