vlayer 1.5.0 Release Breaking Changes

In the vlayer server announcement we released vlayer 1.5.0 which upgrades the risc0 dependency to 3.0.3 and breaks compatibility with 1.4.x. Community members must run the vlayer update command to retain access to the vlayer Prover Server. Prover Servers 1.4.x will be turned off on Friday September 26th 2025 and support is available in the support channel or via GitHub issues.
🚨 Breaking Changes in vlayer 1.5.0 🚨

We're keeping things up-to-date and secure - we released vlayer 1.5.0, which introduces breaking changes compared to 1.4.x.
This update includes a major upgrade to the underlying risc0 dependency.
Older versions are no longer compatible with the current vlayer Prover Server.
🔧 What Changed?
risc0has been upgraded to 3.0.3.-
This update breaks compatibility with vlayer 1.4.x and earlier.

What You Need To Do
Please upgrade vlayer to version 1.5.0 as soon as possible to ensure continued access to the vlayer Prover Server.
To upgrade, open the terminal and run the following in the root directory of your project:
vlayer update
⚠️ The vlayer Prover Servers 1.4.x will be turned off on Friday, September 26th, 2025. After this date, only vlayer 1.5.0 and above will be supported.
