Canon Character Rules for Sonic RP: Enerjak

โฆ CANON CHARACTER GUIDELINES โฆ
Playing a canon character comes with expectations and responsibility.
When accepted for a canon, you are expected to portray them accurately and consistently based on your submission given.
Headcanons are allowed and encouraged, as long as they still feel like the character.
If your headcanon completely changes the identity of the character, staff may ask for adjustments or deny the portrayal.
Reminder:
- You may have up to 6 canon characters
- Only 3 major/important characters (yes this takes up the 6 canon slots)
Purges:
Canon characters are subject to activity purges.
If a canon goes inactive for extended periods, they may become reclaimable for others.
If staff believe that the character is extremely out of character or the portrayal no longer matches the submission, or the player is not a good fit for the role, the canon may be removed and reopened for auditions.
Itโs not a punishment, some characters simply work better with different writers. You could try again.
One last thing,
Some canon characters may have multiple people auditioning for them.
Being denied a role does NOT mean your writing is bad.
Sometimes another applicant is simply a stronger fit for that specific character.
Do NOT:
- harass staff
- attack accepted users
- guilt trip others
