Skylar was making a new post on Flicky, she had just gathered some specialized fishing equipment and traveled to the entrance of this place after the tsunami, deciding to do some fishing here to see what she could find. Both curious if this stupid act will actually yield anything considering the absurd size of that tsunami.

She she readies her bobber, sinker, and line before finally tying the hook on and putting some simple bait on it. Walking into the cave somewhat with her metal umbrella until she got near enough to water to comfortably cast her line and simply do some fishing. Catching some actual fish meant to be in the ocean that ended up here as she’d place them carefully into a container filled with sea water, usually letting whatever she couldn’t afford to eat back into the waters of the cave..and the moment she saw lion fish she simply cooked it on the spot..

With every fish she made a new post and just, relaxed, enjoying her day before-

-she would be in the middle of casting her line once more, with the waters becoming much more still after a couple of hours of fishing..both having gotten various items and fish alike! She couldn’t even guess what could possibly come next from this cave- {S}

Bl1- He had been stuck here; he doesn’t remember for how long.

His body had been floating in the water for quite sometime but he wasn’t sure when. Or how it even happened. His awareness had deteriorated ever since that encounter with Nazo. He couldn’t even process any of it.

There is blood now slightly showing in the water while the hedgehog's eyes are dulled and half-lidded, his head tilting back as he feels something tugging at his skin… But it feels so damn dull compared to the injuries he’s been stuck with for so long.

He can’t even process the fact that the Thing tugging at his skin was practically pulling him in- to where? He wasn’t aware or sure of.

He was trying really hard to cling to consciousness, but he could feel his eyes growing so damn heavy.

He lost feeling in his body. He doesn’t know how long he can keep this up.

A voice he constantly hears is someone distorted. Asking and begging to keep his eyes open, to not ‘fall asleep’.

…he doesn’t know how long he can listen. He can feel himself slipping.

She feels the weight on the line as she begins to feel in whatever she just caught! Not realizing it was practically a hedgehog she just kept reeling and jerking the line to pull in whatever massive catch she just got! She was glad to have gotten a very high quality set of fishing equipment so it wouldn’t break on her so easily

She’s absolutely dumbfounded to say the least..was this some sort of safe? Wood? Whatever it was she was gonna figure it out as she finally yanks the line hard enough to send whatever it was flying from the water tumbling onto the ground behind her. Then she runs up to find out what it was as the light shined down onto it

“Alright, this better be something worth my— WHAT THE FUCK—“ {S}

Bl1- He was out of it. Having no clue as he felt something pulling him, his mind spun while his eyes finally close.

…did this person just call him FAT??

Wow man.

Ahem. He could feel his consciousness fade.

• I’m SO sorry if it’s so short, I didn’t know what to say

She stared in disbelief of this— nearly dead, drenched hedgehog on her line. Her expression a mix of pure unadulterated confusion and anger. What the hell was this idiot even doing down there?!? How are they even alive?!

• “Oh..okay! Sure! Just wanna do some fishing and find corpses in the water! Greeaaaattt…!”

She was about to just leave them there but freezing for a moment as her tail’s fire hovers near his face she sees just who it was and rolls her eyes.

• “I..fuck..course I got ‘lucky’ with this and nothing else..”

She’d pretty quickly remove the hook that had dug into the poor fella and quickly using her fire began to race from where the boat she had was and back with a Medkit. She’s not a doctor or anything but she at least knew some first aid.

“You chose a shitty time for a swim..” {S}

Bl1- the hedgehog was unconscious, His body limp while his mind swam. All he could see in the visionary is The people he know, skipping around him(think of the carousel animatics).

He didn’t know what was happening. He’s been holding on for so long that he gotten tired and only thought one thing now.

..Maybe now, He’ll see his friends again.

It took at least 20 minutes for Skylar to patch up the hedgehog, just letting out an exasperated sigh as she ties off the final bandage after she cauterized all the open wounds with the fire on her tail. She can’t help be feel incredibly uneasy with the fact she has to look at this grotesque sight. She’s not exactly a doctor so..at most what she’s done is either crude or at the bare minimum, just fine..

• “Can’t believe I have to encounter some idiot who wouldn’t have just swam at a moments notice..maybe they never even got the warning bout the flood?…eh..whatever..still fuckin stupid.”

Skylar would lay the hedgehog out across the ground closer to the entrance of the cave where there’s more light as she’d continue fishing. She has no actual intention to stop everything that she’s doing just for some random after all! That’d just be absurd..though the fact she helped at all may be very shocking. She seemed— very dissatisfied with the fact she had to help— anyone at all today. Rather than bask in the chance to be a hero..she seemed to be reluctant.

• “Just keep fishin..just keep fishin and I’ll get all the leftover junk and scrap what I wanna get before returning to the brainiac to upgrade the damn boat properly..can’t belive I have to do this STUPID—“

More grumbling..frustration or— arrogance aside, she’s surprisingly not outright abandoning him. Even the distance into the cave she was is much farther than before which did annoy her, but she knew better than to leave the injured completely alone. She needed to be ready just in case— so she still had the Medkit out beside her so she could grab and go. Meanwhile as she continued to fish she eventually switched to a magnet to get more valulabe from the cave..and even decided to send a message to a friend of hers since, she was doing this for a favor. {S}

Bl1- His body was completely limp, he couldn’t do anything. He was unconscious. God who knows how long he’s been here.

..It’s not he like he asked to swim. He was left here.

After what felt like hours to Sonic, rather more so 20 minutes..Skylar decides she’s gathered enough from this cave as she put up her fishing and magnet fishing gear, making her way out of the cave with her spoils, placing them onto the boat. Then she comes back to hoist the hedgehog over her shoulder. Flinching as the weight was a bit much for her initially.

“Hngh!— fuck!— did you take in THAT much water?!?!”

She snaps at the unconscious hedgehog, but, she can’t be that annoyed..so she moves them onto her boat laying across a couch where it was secured and securing him with some extra straps so he won’t fly out of the boat’s deck. After all..she was going to drive very fast. So she grabs out the key and turns it in the ignition trying to start it up, seeing a display say a warning about the engine needing attention..damn it. {S}

Skylar eventually gets the boat to work after a mix of texting Athena and trying to get the damned engine to work..and the boat practically launches off into the distance as she aims to stop by Athena’s place to basically dump everything onto her including the— near dead hedgehog {S}
