(Duty) Calling People out from the sins and associations of Babylon

dustyisland-60 OP

Colossians 4:15  Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house.

This verse is specifically designed as a rebuke to the unfaithful watchman.

It is speaking about calling people out of the Judged churches - for they too have been paid by the blood of Christ and require sacrifices from the church to reach.

Those that bear any true witness in Christ - are called to call others out of darkness and their sins. For this is the duty of the proven Bride of Christ - God's church. This duty requires a sacrifice - an offering of their time and service to serve the erring and give them plenty of chances to come to Christ.

John 3:28-29  Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him. He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.

Revelation 22:16-17  I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

Hebrews 11:4  By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
