1st Chronicles 7:10  The sons also of (1) Jediael; (2) Bilhan: and the sons of (2) Bilhan; (3) Jeush, and (4) Benjamin, and (5) Ehud, and (6) Chenaanah, and (7) Zethan, and (8) Tharshish, and (9) Ahishahar.

(1) The Knowing God makes known [unto His erring child their errors - this causes the Christian to become] (2) timid and troubled due to being terrified of our current estate of our sinful tendencies and habits.

dustyisland-60 OP

[the result of this] (2) timidness [is] (3) being hasty in trouble... but God hurries to aid the contrite hearted, (4) because it is a wise work to hurry to the troubled and help them, for Christ's angels are there to help them out. (5) It is through the united efforts of the human agent with Christ's angels, God the Holy Spirit, and God the Father's discernment and ordination that causes an erring soul to be re-united with God, now undivided from the holy elements because they have fully divided themselves from the worldly elements of their wrong doing. This is the praise and the thanks of the human agent - the perfected unity co-operating with Christ.

(6) This unity can only occur when common feelings are exchanged and shared among the erring with the fully refromed and repentant believer - this is the practical principle of sympathy which the human agent uses. It requires true humiliation and a lowly mind in order to successfully achieve. A sincere exchange of wisdom can also help shew the Christ-like character in a Christian. However, knowledge itself is not Love, wisdom without a skillful employment causes the man to puff-up with pride (1_Cor 13). This wisdom needs to be presented by an acceptable sacrifice of time, encouragement, and a sense of belonging in heaven - otherwise the soul will see heavenly principles as something inferior compared to what they already have.

(8) If we continue among the path with: grief, complaining, murmuring, full of lamentation, presenting bitterness or resentment - we fail as Christ's Ambassadors. We have to go back to the closet and wrestle in prayer for that gladness to return back - for that Gladness only comes forth when the Holy Spirit is no-longer greived by our course - and a full heart transformation has taken place. We are supposed to be living stones, unmovable pillars of precious stone in the eyes of God - and our day-to-day conduct and meditations must fully reflect that if we desire for the highest perfection of holiness. The best way to achieve such a thing is to never rely on self for strength - as the ships of Tarshish were laid waste because Jehoshaphat - the king pastor of filthy lucre - saught after the worldly gold of Ophir. Christ appeals a different type of gold - the kind that we can take to heaven, the evidence of "the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth" (1Pe 1:7) from this the LORD "will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried" "pure gold, as it were transparent glass" (Zec 13:9 + Rev 21:21) that the character of Christ would be fully reflectant on the conduct of His people. This character can be found in four places in the Bible: the 10 Commandments in Exodus 20, the outline of Love in 1 Corinthians 13, an outline of acceptable fasting in Isaiah 58, & the Fruits of the Spirit found primarily in Galatians 5:22-23 (but expanded upon in Ephesians 5:9).

(9) It is by this reflection of Christ that we become like a "brother of the dawning light" toward those that are in bitter darkness - cleaving unto perishing idols that then cause themselves to perish. It is only by presenting a more precious religion or a more precious discipline - toward those that are practically without Christ - in which the Holy Spirit can then help convert the perishing bear a true witness of what Christianity really is. Be neighbourly - Be brotherly - toward all of those who err, so that they may see Christ in you and permanently convert to Christ and remain in all of the good resons to be faithful unto Him and all His practices.

Please keep this verse in your memory - so that you can have the blessed assurance of the LORD approving your witness and ambassadorship.

1st Corinthians 15:2  By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

The memory can be strengthened only when the principle is employed in the daily life as a practical life-lesson.

Our religion and belief can also fall useless if we forsake the memory of the practical doctrines, loving reproof, and the accounts found in Scripture. Forgetfulness is fruited when we cannot be wholy distinguished from the world. So are the lukewarmed in faith.
