Magestorm Update: Guild Tournaments and Season Rewards
Resumen
Magestorm Hub shares a Magestorm update featuring guild tournaments, rank 11–13 rewards, cleaner arena listings, clearer match start times, and spell cycling that skips empty slots. These changes make tournament nights easier to join and improve everyday play.
Magestorm update - Tue, Oct 27, 2026
-
No more doubled names in the arena list. Entering an arena right after reaching the tavern could list another player twice, one copy that never moved; each player is now listed once.
-
When the match starts. While an arena waits for its match to start, the match status at the top now says when it starts ("Starts at 8:30 PM") instead of "Match 1 in progress".
-
New season rewards at ranks 11-13. Reach rank 11 for the Ember Leaf spell skin (fire wrapped in swirling autumn leaves), rank 12 for the Harvest Mage look (harvest robes, a leaf crown and a glowing lantern) and rank 13 for the First Frost spell skin (ice crystals and falling snowflakes); wear them from the study, and the rank-up pop-up now tells you what you unlocked.
-
Spell cycling skips empty slots. Switching spells with a controller or the mouse wheel now skips empty slots and wraps around to your first spell.
-
Guild tournaments. Guild leaders and vice leaders can now enter their guild in a tournament night from the new Tournaments window (T in the tavern), and members confirm they're playing; a guild needs enough players confirmed and then checked in on the night to take part. Guilds meet in their own arenas round by round, winners against winners, with the bracket and the results in the window and at magestorm.fathomthat.org/tournaments.
-
A tidier Classic tavern. The unused tables tab is gone from the Classic tavern, and Tournaments has its own tourney tab in its place (still T); join a private match with a code from New (or P).
