👀 What's that tag?

Hey Admins and Mods! Starting May 15, it's possible you might notice something new next to some of your members' usernames: ✨ Guild Tags ✨

See a cute little tag next to a member's username or profile? That's a Guild Tag, which indicates someone's membership to a chosen Guild. You can click on this tag to see the Guild profile, and even apply for membership there as well. What this means for you, beloved Admins and Mods, is that if your server's AutoMod is on, it will also check for Guild Tags ☑️

What's a Guild? It's a small, exclusive server that members can apply to join. These servers are tight-knit communities where members can relish in shared identities, hobbies, play styles, and more!

Please note that Guilds are only available to a small number of servers at this time, so not every server has access to this experiment. Additionally, our support team cannot manually add servers to this experiment.

Much love,
The Discord Team

PS: I got this email template from another server, so while it is recommended to use the NCLC one, this one works too.

To Discord,

I am declining both the agreement to arbitrate and the class-action waiver in the new Discord Terms of Service.

Specifically, I am referring to the new Discord terms of service posted at https://discord.com/terms effective 2024 April 15. I am opting out of the arbitration clause, and I am stating my disagreement to the class-action waivers, per section 14 "Settling disputes between you and Discord".

Consider this an unequivocal statement that I wish to opt out of the arbitration clause and the class-action waiver in the Discord Terms of Service. My account information is as follows:

Email:

Please update your records accordingly.

Best regards,

Terms of Service | Discord

Read about Discord's Terms of Service

Hello, I hope everyone's day is going well.

This only applies to people in the US or people with a US password.

Discord has decided to implement an arbitration clause, which basically prevents you from taking any sort of legal action against Discord. If you don't opt out before the 30th of April, you will not be protected by law and therefore have to privately settle anything that happens with the company.

You can opt out by emailing [email protected] using the NCLC template, which is pretty simple.

You never know what can happen, so it is highly recommended to do this.

Stay safe.

Hello there! I hope your day/afternoon/night is going well!

As it has been pretty clear, this server is in dire need of changes after the events of earlier this month, and I can say that change is on the way - but we need your help!

We're running a feedback form now so we can get feedback on what issues this server has, so we can make the necessary changes to make this place better - for all involved. I know everyone has a lot of issues with this place and it's looked upon quite negatively at this point, and I hope everyone can fill out this form so fixes can be made. If you want something fixed/changed, this is the place to tell us so we can act on it. You can find the link here: https://forms.gle/2Lkd8P92mdYZ1U7G9

As for other changes on the way, we've got a few plans. I can't release details right now, but these will start showing themselves probably towards the end of November. We are intending to take our time with these changes (which are going to be significant by the way) so we can do it right. Bear with us as we plow through this final month of hurricane season and into the Holidays!

F13 Survey 2023

Thank you for answering this survey! The moderation team will use the results from this survey to better improve the Public Server.

Update 1 on Cyclone Hamoon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvlwaUuwpwc

Cyclone Hamoon an extremely dangerous threat to Bangladesh

Cyclone Hamoon has pulled a fast one on us all, and has rapidly intensified despite all forecasts calling for gradual intensification. The storm has likely breached the threshold for Category 3 status at this time, and some room for intensification still exists prior to landfall, which looks to be near Chittagong. Residents in the path of this e...
