I’m trying to understand different perspectives about mutaa marriage in Lebanon. I would appreciate it if people could share general views, cultural context, or religious opinions respectfully. I’m not looking to debate or offend anyone, just to learn.

Before 1948 the line between north Palestine and south Lebanon wasn't meaningful in daily life, The Shia villages of the upper Galilee was closely tied to south Lebanon which is also called Jabal 3amel.
Families from these villages were intermarried and also were relatives and traded throughout history and were 1 they also shared the same religious leaders and had the same culture. And these villages weren't isolated but were an extension of south Lebanon shia community.
Some of these villages are Saliha Hula Qadas Tarbikha Qadas (socially and religiously connected to south lebanon)
During the 1948 Israel depopulated these villages and ethnically cleansed them towards south Lebanon and took over their lands. The only thing that makes them different than the other groups of British mandate Palestine is that they crossed directly to south Lebanon as they are an extension of south Lebanon shia community and they got the Lebanese citizenship.
It was easy as they shared religion dialect culture and even blood and families.
And to this days the descendants of these Lebanese people still say that they are from these villages and still identify by them.

https://english.aawsat.com/arab-world/5262673-hezbollah-escalates-politically-and-militarily-over-lebanon-israel-talks
retired brigadier general Saeed Qazah told Asharq Al-Awsat said that “the party effectively does not recognize the authority of the Lebanese state in this matter, nor its ability to negotiate with Israel, particularly on the security dimension along the southern border.”
Hezbollah aims, first, to consolidate its role as a party capable of imposing negotiation terms, and second, to keep this card in Iran’s hands for use within its broader negotiations with the United States.
Retired brigadier general Naji Maleab linked the Hezbollah’s escalation to the negotiation context, saying “what is happening is more of a political message than a military action, aimed at showing that the decision of war and peace remains in the party’s hands, not the Lebanese state.”

Either Apple erased the names of the villages in Lebanon (which is bad) or they never had them to begin with (even though I remeber they had them) and that is worse.
Why buy from a company that does not respect our country?

I go to a Lebanese cafe in my city often. The owner has given me two of these little desserts and they are delicious. Does anyone know what they are called? Thank you :)

If you go to Apple Maps, you will see that most of the towns and villages throughout Lebanon have been erased off the map.
The intent is clear - they desire to evict and erase us from our land.
Keep fighting with each other regarding the Resistance and see where it'll lead us. This is their age-old tactic, and we cannot afford any of that now. Either we all stand together or we fall. SHARE THIS AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!

first of all, I'd like to say that I'm not Lebanese so feel free to ignore anything I say. But I am just trying to understand the public sentiment.
Israel killed at least 357 Lebanese (overwhelmingly civilians) in a single day and has been intentionally bombing Sunni and Christian areas that have no Hezbollah presence to stoke sectarian tensions. Instead of anger at Israel, I've noticed the rhetoric has increasingly turned anti-Shia/Palestinian and now there's talk about the Lebanese government and Israel allying against Hezbollah.
I understand the anger at Hezbollah for dragging Lebanon to this war, but is it really wise to risk a civil war for Israel's sake? Especially knowing that Israel has a history with breaking agreements and refusing to give up captured territory unless forced by the US, which honestly doesn't seem likely now.

Let’s assume two scenarios:
Scenario 1: You are Hassan Nasrallah on October 7th 2023, with the capabilities they have. Hamas just launched their attack - what do you do? And what would be the outcome? Your goal is to wipe our Israel
Scenario 2: You are Benjamin Netenyahu on October 7th 2023 and Hamas just launched their attack, and Hezbollah fired missiles at your territory. What do you do? You have two goals:
1 - Ensure Oct 7 doesn’t happen again
2- Win upcoming elections by projecting strengths
Let’s discuss
