We've recently updated our bot logo from a static purple design to an animated one, but we have some suspicion that people might prefer our old logo over the new logo. Please tell us what you think by voting below!

heres a quick update on what we've been working on

1. We've added topic analytics. You can now track how many people and how many messages are talking about a particular topic.

2. We will push out role analytics. You can track messages, engagement, and retention metrics around specific roles, let it be ambasaddors or developers. Since this requires a huge amount of computational resources due to Discord API limitations, it will be limited to premium only.

Starting from next week, we will go over our bot's overall UI/UX design to make it easier for you to set up and enable or disable any of our features!

We hear the term community all the time, but what does it truly mean? Is it just a group of people in the same chat room? Or is it something more?

CommunityOne has been around for 3 years and we've been looking over many many online servers. Over the past

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Hype Engine V2

Over the past two weeks, we've reviewed a significant amount of data on how you are using our product, including what works, what doesn't, and what performs significantly better than we expected, as well as why certain aspects fell short of expectations.

Over 1,000 of our servers have submitted the survey, and approximately 6,000 of you have suggested quest ideas to improve the community over the past year.

We also took a look at some of the best communities out there and gave some thought about how to build a community forever.

Hence, we've decided to significantly revamp our hype engine feature over the second half of the year.

Hype Engine v1 is a daily quest system that gives users Discord-specific tasks with the goal of helping each other make friends. Currently, people playing quests chat 4x more.

We will start work on Hype Engine V2, like V1, it will leverage community dynamics, but with a focus on helping your members to do "MEANINGFUL" things rather than just Discord messages.

For example, if you are knowledge driven, we want to get people to read more about your materials, if you are a music server, we want people to write/play/share more music, if you are roblox scripting server, we want your members to stop slacking, start having a actionale plan to start doing and use the community has a place to hold each other accountable.

We want to help you build a truly meaningful community, providing you with the tools to leverage your existing content and community members and improve the lives of at least a few server members.

A community where people take action lasts longer than one that just chats. (Although chat is cool!)

Quick update on what we've been up to this week:

1. API for Analytics: You will very soon be able to use our API to download your analytics data directly.

2. Free Premium: We've added a couple of ways for you to try the Spark package for free. It is now in the "Unlock Rewards" tab.

3. We should soon be able to refer your friends server and get more free premium trial next week.

=> Our goal is to allow you to actively try out the premium packages as long as you are interested.

1. Internally, we are conducting our semi-annual review on the products and features that we currently offer to figure out what to build next. (This is also why we haven't updated the incoming features.)

🙌 Finally, I want to thank all the servers that have filled out our surveys over the years. Just to give you a bit of perspective, we are now at 4.5k servers, and roughly 1k servers have completed our surveys to some extent.

I thank you for taking the time to do our survey, and want to let you know that those are incredibly valuable insights that allow us to build better stuff.

(2) There have been more incidents involving someone pretending to be me personally. The latest account has a username louisa1000_. It has been DM people asking them about market conditions. If in doubt, check this message to ensure it has the correct user ID.

Hey guys! This week's update:

• Discord Knowledge Discovery is now out. It should be pretty self-explanatory. After you set up the configuration, please let us know which channels, which members' messages, and which topic we should automatically sync knowledge to. We will show you all the knowledge bits.

We will need members' explicit consent to sync their Discord messages with your Spark knowledge as a safety measure.

This week we will be working on the speeding up some of our infrastructure and adding some additional charts into our analytics.

here's some product update this week

1. We are pretty close to push out discord knowledge discovery feature. We've finished internal testing, but working on figuring out how much we can give in free and paid tier given that it is a costly feature. We are also working out details on how you can manage your Discord knowledge bits in a sustainable way.

A lot of efforts go into making sure that our AI is not being polluted by "bad" data points. We also end up using a new algorithm to prioritize knowledges in the knowledge docs before referring answers from Discord in order to maintain quality.

How to provide the best support with your Discord

We will go over the best practices on how to best support your members on Discord, how to get feedback, and how to scale your support. Also talking over some of the things we've learned when using AI to help with support.

However, I want to give everyone a heads-up that we have noticed certain users abusing Hype Engine, either by attempting to game the system, for example, by interacting with Spark for the sole purpose of completing the quests rather than actual human members, or by excessively tagging users without attempting to have a genuine conversation. Or simply inviting many fake accounts and pretending to be engaging in "His".

Going forward, we reserve the right to ban your accounts and prevent you from playing Hype Engine if we notice such activities.

Hey guys! Here are some latest updates for this week:

1. We are mainly working on the feature where we can automatically learn from your Discord knowledge. We are still finalizing a couple of details and optimizing our algorithm to make the process scalable.

Discord knowledge discovery proved to be more challenging than initially expected. Gemini tripled its API cost, also putting a hold on our progress. However, we are close to completing this feature.

1. After we implement the Discord knowledge update feature, we will work on a hybrid approach, where we essentially direct unanswered questions to humans for handling. We expect Hybrid to be a relatively easy feature to implement due to all the foundational work we are doing with Discord Knowledge Discovery.

You should have both features by the end of next week, assuming no issues arise.

Hey guys! So here's some updates regarding the part 1 of our spark push:

1. Things that we have pushed:
1. Multi-agent mode: many agents for many channels.
2. Style: Everyone will see a better conversation style (we also remove all the embeds). With premium, we are adding extra calls for more strict style control.
3. Better search: Improved backend algorithm to chunk your content dynamically, generally smaller, and less requirment on your input format.
4. Longer context window: Partially due to moving from openai to gemini, but also some internal adjustment on how we pack historical messages.
