Do you know how she ended up back in Tekken 7?
Kunimitsune was killed in Tekken 2. Tekken 7 just did the whole "This is her daughter" swap to get her back in. She isn't even actually Kunimitsune she took up her mothers name and weapons to killer her Mother's murderer Yoshimitsu.
Same thing happened with Master Raven.
The only person Yoshimitsu can't kill and has been trying since Tekken 4 is Bryan Fury 😂
It also helped them keep Kunimitsune young looking. As she would be around her later 40s in Tekken 7 and 50s in Tekken 8
I really hope Bryan is still a badass in Tekken 8 though. They started to make him sorta undead looking a bit in Tekken 7.
I mean that is just the nature of the 90s in most fighting games that were 3D. Personally even if it was the mother it would be the same moves the daughter is doing.
Tekken didn't start to get really good until Tekken 3. Then it was up and down depending on how you look at them as a whole.
Tekken 6 was literally the most unbalanced mess. 😂 It's why I love Tekken 7 over it.

For the most part as far as I remember. Bryan Fury and Yoshimitsu have the highest kill count. This might change in Tekken 8 since Kazuya is trying to kill anyone weak on earth.

Well it is being built from the ground up. So 19 characters is not bad for a beta test.
They already said they will have the largest character list on release. So I doubt they are not doing it. They said it will be more than Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter on release.
So far online play has anime to watch, mini games, all returning tekken mini games, retro games mutiplayer and online will roll back.
