🚀 MoparScape Update – Security, Live Votes & More!

We’ve rolled out several new improvements to MoparScape:

🔐 Optional Two-Step Login Verification
Server owners can now enable email verification for their account. When enabled, a login code will be sent to your email address before access is granted.

You can also choose “Trust this device” to skip the verification code on that device for 60 days.

🗳️ Live Votes Now Show Player Names
The Live Votes section can now display the username of the player who voted when the username is included in the server’s MoparScape vote link.

This makes the live voting feed more useful for both server owners and players.

🛡️ New Automatic Anti-Bot Vote Protection
We’ve added an additional automated anti-bot detection system.

Instead of using the same limits for every server, MoparScape analyzes approximately 14 days of previous voting activity to calculate what normal voting behaviour looks like for each individual server.

If an abnormal amount or pattern of votes is detected, voters may be required to complete an additional verification step.

Normal voters will continue using the quick and easy Cloudflare verification, so legitimate voting should remain fast.

We’ve rolled out several new improvements to the toplist:

🔥 Last 24 Hours Votes
You can now see how many votes each RSPS has received during the last 24 hours, displayed directly next to the total monthly votes.

🔎 RSPS Search
A new search bar has been added to the toplist. You can instantly filter servers by:
- Server name
- Owner
- Revision / client version

The results update automatically while searching.

📢 Sidebar Advertising
New 160x600 sidebar ad spots have been added to the homepage. These advertisements are shown on larger screens without taking up space on mobile devices.

⏳ Sold-Out Ad Countdown
When an advertising spot is sold out, the store now displays a countdown showing when the next spot becomes available.

More improvements are coming as we continue expanding MoparScape.

Several improvements were added to the MoparScape RSPS Toplist today:

🏆 Server Ranking Column — Regular servers now display their current toplist position as #1, #2, #3, etc.
⭐ Sponsored Server Indicator — Sponsored servers now use a clear ★ instead of a numbered rank, keeping them visually separate from the normal rankings.
🆕 NEW Server Badge — Servers registered within the last 30 days now receive a compact NEW badge beside their server name, giving newly added RSPS servers more visibility.
📊 Monthly Vote Counter — The homepage now shows Votes this month, counting all current votes across both sponsored and regular servers.
📌 Sticky Toplist Headers — Table headers remain visible while scrolling down the desktop toplist, making long server lists easier to browse.
⬆️ Smooth Back-to-Top Button — A floating RSPS-styled button now appears when scrolling down and smoothly returns you to the top of the page.
📢 Top Ads on Every Toplist Page — Top advertising banners are now displayed on page 2, page 3 and all other paginated toplist pages instead of only the first page.

More improvements to the toplist and MoparScape network will continue to roll out.

📢 MoparScape Toplist Update

We made a few small improvements today:

• Registration page is now clearer
• Passwords must be at least 10 characters
• Server names must be unique
• Website URLs must start with https://

• Registration errors now show bigger and in red

• Server website status checks improved
  The automatic website checks have been improved to be more accurate, use better fallback checks, and cause fewer delays for the server while checking listed websites.

These updates should make the toplist easier to use for both server owners and players.

We’ve added a new status feature to MoparScape!

The toplist now automatically checks if listed server websites are reachable.

• Online websites show Play Now
  🔴 Unreachable websites show Offline

This also works on server profile pages, where offline servers will now show Server offline instead of the normal website button.

The offline button is still clickable, so players can still try visiting the website manually.

This should make it easier to see which RSPS websites are currently reachable before clicking through.

Server owners: if your listing shows offline, please check your website URL and make sure your site is publicly accessible.
