The Pokémon Champions | VGC Battles & Tournaments server is currently focused on optimizing Golisopod for the competitive meta. This community-driven initiative explores various team archetypes, including Trick Room, Tailwind, and Psyspam variations. Members are actively sharing and refining team builds to maximize Golisopod's potential in competitive play, providing a collaborative space for trainers to test new strategies and improve their tournament performance.

Rilla isn't like required, however the healing is super nice, plus grassy seed on Sneasler makes a pretty big impact in a lot of matches

I find the team goli can solo most teams and then psyspam for his bad matchups

I test alot of variations so I can tell you my end result will be the best 😛
I tried running gardi and never brought her. Same with bax.
I find that indeedee armarogue is enough to kill anything goli doesn't like. Currently on a 8 game win Streak.
And for fire I find all the rain and water users clear anything that threatens goli very well
I find its better to use a 5th normal mon for coverage over a 2nd mega

This teams are trying to make Golisopod work outside of rain with Garchomp clearing the path and Archaludon being unkillable
Sand doesnt boost its spdef but it helps counter both rain and sun
Rain to kill goli with volcarona and sun because sun is problem for my goli
