Choosing Your Global Challenge Team: Meta vs. Rogue Picks
Résumé
In the Pokémon Champions | VGC Battles & Tournaments server, members are debating the best team composition for the upcoming Global Challenge. The discussion weighs the reliability of proven tournament-winning teams against the surprise factor of custom-built rosters. This analysis highlights critical matchups, such as handling Charizard and Venusaur, helping players refine their strategies for competitive success.
I feel like both teams are good but I feel like both of them have their pros and cons
Team 1: I’m quite confident with it as I’ve been playing it for a decent amount of time and getting confident with it. But, since it’s a tournament winning team people would know it and be prepared for it
Team 2: I’ve built it myself so people wouldn’t be fully prepared for it and yet again I’ve played for a decent time so I’m confident with it. But with this team I feel like the Zard + Venu matchup is tricky as whine ChompZ easily handles Zard he can’t handle Venu and in sun Venu out speeds and’ll probably put it to sleep.
I am leaning more towards team 1 but I feel like the surprise factor of 2 might help out more.
