What you put on your Pokemon is important. If you don't know what the best in slot items, moves, ability and ev spread are, COME ASK US above everything we love vgc and love good play. We want you to enjoy this as much as we do. Listen to our advice. We want to help you succeed.
Above all, have fun. The current format we are in (a format is a list of rules items and pokemon currently allowed in this season of ranked play) is what we would consider a "Training Wheels" format. It's low power and much simpler so you have time to adjust and learn before more choices become available to you.
Lastly, for now, Pokemon Champions being the first game that has awarded free access to ranked play, has brought the largest influx of first time trainers than we have ever had in this community. If you need help and a veteran player hasn't come to help, please be patient. We all have jobs, lives and family outside of the game and will get to you as soon as we have time.
