Enoch stands as one of Scripture's greatest examples of readiness for eternity. He lived in a corrupt world, yet he maintained a close relationship with God. His preparation for heaven was not accomplished through occasional religious activity but through daily fellowship with the Lord.

Walking with God involves more than believing in Him. It means living in continual dependence upon Him. It means seeking His guidance, trusting His promises, and choosing obedience even when it is difficult.

Enoch did not become a faithful man overnight. His character was developed through years of communion with God. Day after day, he chose to place spiritual things first. As a result, his life reflected the character of heaven.

The same opportunity is available to every believer today. While we may not live in the exact circumstances of Enoch, we serve the same God. Through prayer, Bible study, and surrender, we too can walk with Him.

Preparation for Christ's return is not primarily about future events. It is about present fellowship with Christ. Those who walk with Him now will rejoice when they see Him face to face.

Am I walking with God daily, or only seeking Him occasionally?

Lord, help me walk with You each day. Strengthen my faith, deepen my relationship with You, and prepare me for eternity. Amen.
