Shrinebreaker Update: Fair Matches, DMs & Smarter Bots

Résumé

Magestorm Hub shares a Shrinebreaker update focused on fairer public matches, private messages, and smarter bots. Matches now limit level gaps and show level caps, players can message and reply with chat commands, and bots better handle enemy walls while building fewer of their own.

Shrinebreaker update - Sun, Nov 1, 2026

  • Fair public matches. A public match now only lets in players within 8 levels of the strongest player already there, and its maker can cap the levels (up to 10, 15, 20 or 25) - no more level 30s crashing a newcomers' game. The arena list shows each match's level limit before you click.

  • Private messages with /dm. Type /dm Name message (or /w, /msg, /tell) to message a player from the tavern or an arena, and /r message to reply - @Name still works in the tavern; you can send one every 10 seconds.

  • Bots and walls. Bots now break enemy walls that block them - with a spell the wall doesn't resist - and put up far fewer walls of their own, only when an enemy is close.
