“It’s hard to believe this is being treated as just another news story.
The occupying army left behind cluster bombs disguised as toys to kill children in southern Lebanon. They look like balls that attract children’s attention and explode when touched.
The photo was taken recently in the town of Dweir, in the Wadi neighborhood.
Please share this warning, be cautious, and alert families and children in particular.”

The Hezbollah chief extended his gratitude to Iranian officials involved in the negotiations, including Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
He also thanked Iranian Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei, President Masoud Pezeshkian, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the Iranian armed forces and the Iranian people.
“We saw them in the squares of Iranian cities and heard their demands to sacrifice their lives to save the resistance and its people,” he wrote.

This “ceasefire” is a very bad deal for Isnotreal. Essentially they would have to go back to there side of the border (which they spent months taking) with zero guarantee that hezb would be disarmed, or even north of the Litani river, why would they agree to that deal? Also this deal is bad for everyone except Iran, they get 12 Billion in frozen assets back, and 300 Billion in the future to sell the “nuclear dust” to the US?! I mean Trump might be the stupidest person ever. No agreement that Isnotreal would be off our land, no agreement that hizb would disarm, no agreement that hizb would be north of the Litani river, the reopening of the strait of Hormuz even though it was open before the war, and Iran gets money of the deal.

When will the Lebanese government and military finally stand up to Hebzbollah so no one has any "excuses" to interfere in the country anymore?

I missed my home, but I fear that any good thing sponsored by Iran will backfire. This war, I'm not sure it's over just yet. And it will never really be over, not until Hezbollah is disarmed and we are free of Iran.

According to recent reports in Iranian media, the framework for a US-Iran agreement includes several major financial and regulatory components:
A substantial influx of capital into the Iranian economy and the removal of banking restrictions will logically affect its regional network. Financially, this likely translates to a resumption and potential increase of funding to Hezbollah relative to pre-2023 levels.
Domestically, this would directly impact institutions like Al-Qard al-Hasan, which would see a significant renewal of liquidity, enabling the resumption of financial disbursements and reimbursements to the party's base. This financial stabilization explains Hezbollah’s public endorsement of the diplomatic agreement.
Simply put, more money for Iran means more money for Hezbollah. This cash injection will allow them to rebuild their social services and security network, which will naturally lock in the loyalty of their supporters.
Ultimately, a financially backed Hezbollah means they will hold a much stronger hand in Lebanese politics moving forward.
Curious to hear thoughts on this - do you think the Lebanese political opposition has any way to counter this if the deal goes through?

The head of Hezbollah’s drone unit, Mohammad Srour, was killed in an Israeli strike on the southern suburbs of Beirut on Thursday, confirmed the party in a statement.
“With great pride and honor, the Islamic Resistance announces the martyrdom of Commander Mujahid Mohammad Hussein Srour," Hezbollah declared.Srour was born in Aita al-Shaab, in southern Lebanon, on July 8, 1973, according to the statement. He joined "the ranks of the Islamic Resistance in 1986." Over the years, he "climbed the ranks of the resistance’s organizational structure, receiving numerous advanced leadership trainings."
The statement added that "Srour participated in several Islamic Resistance operations against the Israeli occupation." He also "played a crucial role in repelling attacks by Takfiri groups along Lebanon's eastern borders.

Hezbollah strikes Israel, so Israel strikes Dahye, now all of a sudden Iran cares enough to retaliate (not for jnoub), then Israel retaliates against Iran.
Key takeaway is that this proves Iran using us as a bargaining chip, otherwise their retaliations wouldn't be for Dahye only.

Online or around batroun/tripoli
The one in the picture cost 31 usd without delivery, so I think it's a bit too expensive.
I know these might be a niche item, but just trying my luck.

Mods deleted my post about this because they, for some reason, misunderstood the clear as day fear I have about Iran-sponsored Israeli withdrawals. So let's reiterate.
Our government achieved a logical plan with Nazi Israel. "Pilot Zones" where the government slowly takes control of southern villages, removing illegal weapons. This makes the most sense. Israel is never withdrawing without a guarantee that Hezbollah isn't fully disarmed.
Obviously, Iran and by extension Hezbollah "rejected" this. They want full immediate Israeli withdrawal. Lauaghably illogical.
So, as a homesick displaced southern person, I understand the real reason behind this rejection- Iran can't lose its influence to the Lebanese government. We are a perfect bargaining chip in its negotiations with the US.
If any US-Iran deal were to cause Israeli withdrawal, Hezbollah and Iran score a huge win, and then again I'll hear exaggerated heroic anasheeds once I cross the Litani.

I miss my home in the south, but this is precisely why this is a bad idea. A win for Iran is a win for Hezb. Thus, they will rearm, and this happens all over again a year later. I'm tired boss. I don't want fake wins.

In the past, Hezbollah's rhetoric was always on the line of: "If it were not for us, Israel would be now in Beirut / Saida / Awaale... etc". By the end of the first war (Isned Gaza) Israel had conquered 5 spots and Hezbollah claimed that Israeli incursion were thwarted by their resistance.
Now, even with resistance, they are managing to gain ground at a very fast pace. What is their argument now to the loss of land and life?

I'm not with Hezbollah and I don't care about Iran, I care about society in Lebanon. Israel is occupying our land and ethnically razing our people and fragmenting our society. Iran is fighting Israel for reasons totally unrelated to us. We have an interest in negotiating with Iran to find a common path against Israel, if only temporary. I don't see how this government (that all tawaif support, subhan Allah!) has our society's interests at heart.

Hello everyone,
I'm Lebanese and currently living in Dubai. im 29. I haven't been back to Lebanon in about seven years. My wife is Russian, and we're planning to visit Lebanon at the end of June for 10 days.
We'd love some recommendations for the best places to visit, especially churches, historical sites, museums, hiking trails, and other must-see destinations. We're particularly interested in Lebanon's mountains, nature, coastal towns, and beaches—especially around Batroun and northern Lebanon.
Several people have recommended Wadi Qadisha (Kadisha Valley) and Deir El Qamar in the Chouf region, and we'd like to know if they're worth including in our itinerary.
We'd also appreciate advice on areas that are currently considered safe for tourists and any regions that are best avoided due to security concerns.
Could anyone suggest a well-balanced 10-day itinerary that combines history, culture, nature, mountain villages, hiking, and some relaxing time by the sea?
Thank you in advance for your recommendations!

This guy is one of the top pro hezb accounts on X and one of it's most active supporters. He's all but admitting that they(who don't pay taxes) live off the hard earned money of those that do. To everyone who screamed at me and attacked me for saying some people with a certain affliation to an illegal iranian proxy, don't pay taxes.
Here's one of them admitting it himself. So the argument is pointless. But this raises an important question. Why are hardworking citizens subsidizing people who contribute nothing? Why is this allowed to happen why are we not talking about it?

“It’s clear why Tehran rejected the ceasefire,” Salam, who gives the impression of a man who thinks faster than he speaks, told The Times. “Tehran wanted to say Lebanon is a card in our pocket, that ‘we decide on Lebanon’s behalf … we are the decision-makers’.”
This was illustrative, Salam said. “If this tells you something it’s how much the [Iranian] Revolutionary Guards are in control not only of the military and security apparatus of Hezbollah but also of the decision-making.”
When the US and Israel attacked Iran on February 28, he called Nabih Berri, the Shia speaker, who held some leverage with the militants.
“‘Mr Speaker, I’m very concerned. I’m really troubled’,” Salam recalled telling Berri, who replied that he was planning to meet leaders of the militia that day. When Berri called him back a day later, he was optimistic. “He said, ‘I met them, and I’ve called to reassure you. Don’t worry, they won’t [join the war]’,” Salam recalled.
