Summary
The CommunityOne Builders Help server is exploring new moderation features to streamline staff workflows. Proposed updates include adding direct hyperlinks to bot logs for faster review and implementing a custom AI prompt system for tailored server rule enforcement. These improvements aim to save time for moderators and provide more granular control over content filtering, with discussions currently underway regarding potential premium implementation for AI-heavy features.
Hey CommunityOne team, I have another suggestion for the new moderation features.
As you can see in the screenshot, when Spark flags a user for "Sharing sexual images", it lists the recent events. It would be amazing if each of those listed events (like 1 and 2) could include a direct hyperlink to the specific log message where the bot blocked the user.
Right now, if the team wants to review the details or context, we have to manually search through our log channels. Having a direct jump link to the exact bot log would save a ton of time for the staff

Also, another cool idea for the moderation system: It would be awesome if we had a "Custom Moderator" feature (like a custom AI prompt).
Instead of just the default categories, we could basically tell the bot in plain English what we don't want in the server, and the AI would filter it out. For example, we could tell it to block and flag anything related to Nazism, hate speech, or specific server rule violations.
What do you think?
Sorry for the ping
yes! we actually want to do this one
yes, this is also a gerat idea
this one is probably gonna be a premium feature, if something like that to happen, would you guys be willing to pay for it
the reason is actually it actually is gonan cost quite a bit lol
rate limits is a bitch for all the AI providers out there... sign
thanks for the points! Appreciate it
. (By the way, what can I actually do with them?🧐 )
Totally get the pricing part—running AI models isn't cheap with those API costs. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure if we'll be able to afford it financially
, but since I run the server for Idan, I'll definitely pitch it to him and see what he thinks once it's out. It really does sound like a game-changer!(Especially for a server like ours.)
Keep up the great work with the updates, Thanks for the answer. High level bot
haha, please keep it coming, we will be able to do another round of iteraction for moderation soon, btw, we pushed out the granular category control!
and i have no idea what u can do with the point yet, we are gonna do something about it in the future.. maybe u can redeem it for one month of premium
using points for a month of premium is actually a great idea, would definitely use that to test out the custom AI mod features later on.
Sounds good, I'll be waiting for the next round of updates. If I come up with any more ideas or things to improve, I’ll let you know
By the way, quick question regarding the server referral link—a friend of mine just invited the bot using my link, but we didn't get the premium days yet. The banner says "once requirements are met". Could you tell me what the specific requirements are for the referral to go through?
I actually know a few people I can send this link to, so I just want to make sure how it works. Thanks
Also, just a small idea—would it be possible to make the bot block
or filter out sexual GIFs specifically?
I found out the hard way that the current image filter only catches normal images, but people can still bypass it using GIFs
. I think adding this could be really helpful and great for keeping servers clean!
Oh, and by the way—if tagging you here is an issue or bothers you, just let me know and I'll try to avoid it next time
ah gifs are harder, because they are animated!
but yes, those are great feedback
BTW, we are gonna do a new round of moderaiton on our server emoji page, we can probably learn more on what AI works and don't when it comes to videos
the native gif for Discord support nsfw stuff right?
No, it's actually not from the built-in Discord GIF search. They usually bypass it by bringing in GIFs from outside sources or sending external links/files that the bot doesn't flag as images.
Speaking of filters, there's another challenge we face with deleted images. When the bot deletes a sexual image and gives the user an isolation role, the image link in the logs becomes completely broken and says the file doesn't exist.
Because of that, when the staff goes to review why they got punished, we can't actually see what it was. We're just left guessing and don't know what to do with the user. I think making the bot re-upload or mirror the deleted image/GIF directly into the log channel could be another great feature idea
