CTI Hub Community Feedback & Expansion

Resumo

CTI - Cyber Threat Intelligence announces a community feedback drive to expand the server. The post outlines forum guidelines, a suggested post format, and asks members to post ideas in the Suggestions channel. Priority will be given to posts with the most reactions as the team evaluates new feeds, OSINT tools, structural changes, and improvements.

:redutility4: 2026-04-01 | CTI Community Announcement

When I started this project, it was intended to be a morning newspaper of sorts, helping me get a jump on my day with current news and events in the industry. I opened the server, and it quickly grew to our near-800-member count. The community has since evolved a bit with the deep organization of our Feeds category and even the custom#rware-victims channel by a member of our community.

Now, as the community continues to grow and the industry evolves, we are looking to expand it even further. We would like to open the floor up for discussion and get feedback, as well as suggestions on how we could further improve this server.

💡 Suggestions & Forum Guidelines

Welcome! We value your input to help make this the best CTI community on Discord. To ensure your idea is seen and understood, please follow these guidelines when creating a post. Please post your suggestions and feedback to #channel and utilize the Suggestion tag. We value all posts and would love to capitalize on everything, but as we must prioritize what is most popular, we will review the posts with the most :utility12: reactions first.

📝 Post Format

Please use the following structure for your suggestion:

  • Summary: A clear, one-sentence description of the idea.
  • The "Why": What problem does this solve? How does it benefit the CTI community?
  • Implementation Idea: Any thoughts on how we could actually do it? (e.g., specific bots, webhooks, or role changes).

🔍 Search First

Before posting, please use the search bar at the top of this forum. If someone has already suggested your idea, give it an upvote or add a comment to that existing thread instead of making a new one.

✅ What We’re Looking For

Intelligence Feeds: New RSS sources, OSINT tools, or ransomware leak trackers.

  • Structural Changes: Ideas for new specialized sub-channels (e.g., #mobile-malware or #apt-tracking).
  • Automation: Suggestions for Discord bots that could help with IOC enrichment or alert filtering.
  • Community Events: Ideas for CTFs, guest speakers, or research paper deep-dives.

❌ What to Avoid

Support Tickets: If you have a personal issue or need help with a role, please use open-ticket.

  • Vague Requests: "Make the server better" isn't actionable. Be specific!
  • Harassment: Keep all suggestions professional and constructive.

Check out our new CTI server tag! :poggers:
