Hey everyone… We sadly have some sad news, please read

We wanted to let you all know that the final Wisterwheen event has been canceled. We’re really sorry about this, and we know many of you were excited to join in on the fun.

As a thank you for being so kind and understanding, everyone will be receiving a special little gift in their mailbox! Consider it a cozy treat from us to you, for making Wisterwild such a warm and wonderful place to be.

Even though this event won’t be happening, the spirit of Wisterwheen still lives on through all the memories, laughter, and creativity you’ve shared this season. 🍯🌙

We hope you’re having a wonderful day in Wisterwild!
Here’s a quick refresher on how we can all help keep the server running smooth as butter 🧈

🐾 Entity & Floating Item Culler
- Our LagLimiter clears excess mobs and floating items every few minutes.
- Anything nametagged will not be removed — nametag what you love!
- Lost items can be recovered with /abyss for a few moments after a lag clear.

⚡ Redstone & Farms
- Large redstone devices can cause major lag.
- If your contraption stops working, try:
- Spacing farms at least 2 chunks apart
- Reducing hopper chains (use water/ice instead!)
- Limiting signs & item frames to essentials
- Make sure every farm has an on/off switch or a way to disable it so it's not running non stop.

🌾 Bonus Tips
- Keep mob counts reasonable in each area.
- Avoid massive particle effects or constant redstone loops.

Couple of key reminders!

• Tuesday November 4th (tentative) will be Wisterwild's next regularly scheduled Chunk Trim!
• All spaces outside of all claimed chunks and all community spaces (like spawn & the market), also known as the Wilderness, will be reset poof
• remember - this is separate from the 14 day regeneration that happens as outlined in https://discord.com/channels/1257016639401234535/1413283915753590844

⏱️ How do I prevent my builds/base from getting reset?

By claiming your area (/lands claim) and staying up to date on Upkeep (see https://discord.com/channels/1257016639401234535/1413283915753590844 for all details) your area will stay safe and sound ✨

🔮 What about The End & The Nether?

The End & The Nether will not be reset at this time but we will give you as much notice as possible if anything changes.

🗺️ What about a temp spot I set up to check out later?

Make sure to claim any spaces you don't want wiped! This includes all temporary bases and supplies left outside your claimed areas.

Hint:.

Team up with someone if you're not able to claim land yet! Some players don't mind housing your stuff until after monthly trim happens. Work together, there's lots of opportunity in reaching out!

🌿 Incoming Block Helper (Making Life Easier!)

Hi friends 💜🌙

To help keep the server smooth as we grow, we’re adding a little behind-the-scenes helper after the next reboot. This tool automatically handles certain block-heavy situations so no one has to worry about manual checks, reminders, or “hey… can you break these 200 hoppers?” conversations.

In other words — this exists so I don’t have to pop into your base and ask you to change things. Nobody enjoys that, including me 😅💀
This way, the server does the heavy lifting and you can just build and vibe.

Most players will never hit a limit at all, and if you do, it’ll just gently let you know so nothing piles up silently and causes lag later. No stress, no admin pings, no awkward DMs. Just smoother gameplay for everyone 💕

This isn’t about restricting creativity — it’s about avoiding performance issues before they start, so that we never have to “police” bases or ask anyone to undo their hard work.

We will soon have a new system so we can help everyone figure out who is located at which post office but for now, this will help us make sure everyone is able to receive goodies and mail!

Hey everyone 💬

Lately, we’ve had a few conversations where things got a little heated, and I want to make something crystal clear moving forward:

🪶 Having an opinion does not give anyone permission to be rude.
You can absolutely share your thoughts, frustrations, and disagreements — that’s how we grow together as a community.
But there’s a big difference between expressing an opinion and taking your frustration out on others.

When people are explaining something or offering clarity, that’s not your cue to double down, dismiss, or argue circles around them. That behavior isn’t “discussion” — it’s disrespect, and it drains the good vibes that everyone works so hard to keep alive here.

If you ever find yourself frustrated or disagreeing, try this instead:
- Take a pause before responding.
- Assume the person you’re talking to is trying to help.
- If it’s still bothering you, open a ticket instead of venting in public chat.

Our Cottage Crew did an amazing job handling a situation like this recently — staying calm, patient, and kind while being firm about boundaries. That’s the energy we expect from everyone here.

We can all share opinions and feedback — but let’s do it with the same kindness we’d want to receive.

🌙 A Quick Note from Me 🌙

Hey everyone 💜

I want to sincerely apologize that anyone had to deal with uncomfortable behavior in the server while I was asleep last night. Unfortunately, one player came in causing chaos, and while I wasn’t around, Cottage Crew handled the situation with patience and care.

They weren’t given any emergency protocols prior to this, but they trusted their instincts and did the right thing by banning him once it was clear he was being disruptive and disrespectful.

I’ve since put official emergency protocols in place so if something like this ever happens again, Cottage Crew will be able to act faster to keep Wisterwild safe even when I’m not available.

I’m genuinely sorry that anyone had to tolerate that kind of behavior longer than they should’ve — and I’m grateful to the Crew for stepping up when things got chaotic. Thank you all for continuing to make this community such a warm, safe, and magical space. 💫

Hello Fellow Wisterwildlings!! Happy Friday Jr.!

I've found a crisp new plugin that tells me way more about server lag, like exactly what chunk it is and what is causing it, so if I reach out it's because your area has been flagged and we need some tweaks to help bring the server back to its smooth as butter baseline!

This has been... eye opening... so far!! Our lag reducer measures redstone and total entities but this plugin shows way more detail so I'm going around the server manually and checking what may be the cause of the lag we've had lately. Keep an eye out for any messages and please don't be alarmed if you see me tp'ing around scoping things out, I'm just trying to smoothen things out for everyone!
