Abu Hatim Muhammad ibn Idris ar-Razi's book "al-Marasil" . The author of the book is his son Abu Muhammad Abdur-Rahman , who narrates from his father. In the biography of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), in the chapter "ha", on page 27 (number 43) , he says:
Al-Husayn ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib, may God be pleased with them both.
I heard my father say: Husayn ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib, may God be pleased with them both, was not a companion of the Prophet.
Husayn ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard my father (i.e. Abu Hatim) say: Husayn ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) did not have any companions!
He went against the consensus of the people of Qibla. Even if you ask a Christian, for example, whether the grandson of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) Hussein ibn Ali was a companion? He will immediately answer you that yes. No one doubts this. However, this act of this scholar, who gives conflicting opinions about the personality of Imam Hussein, is very strange and strange.

The person who will answer this question is the great scholar and great hafiz Ibn Kathir . In the book โal-Bidayah wan-Nihayahโ, volume 8, page 285, he says:
As for the head of al-Husayn (may God be pleased with him), it is well-known among historians and biographers that Ibn Ziyad sent it to Yazid ibn Mu'awiyah, though some people have denied this . In my opinion, the first account is more widely accepted, but God knows best .
As for the fate of Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him), what is known among historians and scholars of history is that Ibn Ziyad sent him to Yazid ibn Muawiyah. Some have denied this. In my opinion, the first is more famous. Allah knows best.
