Tips for beginners

``` Are you asking yourself where to start? Or perhaps you may be feeling lost?
Well at least allow me to point you to what helped me.

It’s important to know as a begginer that everyone’s craft is different!
A common misconception is that you need a deity to start your craft, you DONT! Not every witch has a deity they are under or worship
You also don’t even need to have a specific religion either!
Believe in what feels right to you
RESEARCH IS IMPORTANT!! (Tiktok and insta don’t count as research!)

As a beginner witch it’s smart to wait until you are more experienced in your craft in order to do any curses or hex’s as if you give out the wrong intentions by accident
Something you may not intend to happen could happen
THIS ALSO GOES FOR LOVE SPELLS! You can do glamor magic to attack your soul mate, but as for luring someone into a relationship they didn’t want to begin with is just disastrous and will end badly for you and the other person.

Now spells can work differently for everyone but it’s important to know you need to do certain things to help enhance it
For example
If you’re doing a money spell but you are someone who calls out of work or doesn’t take shifts
That spell may not work aswell as you would like
I can promise rn that taking the extra shifts is apart of what the spell does!
Spell wise it’s also important to be sure you are patient not every spell work right away!

To start
I definitely suggest doing shadow work
What is shadow work?
That’s the practice of understanding and identifying what has been unconsciously bothering you, and also learning make about yourself in general. In other words is accepting the truth about yourself instead of hiding it, healing what hasn’t been healed.
How can you do shadow-work?
Get a notebook / journal! Write in it
Questions like “I want to understand why I get emotional so easily”
Or
“I want to improve {what u want here}”
When you do shadow work make sure you are in a comfortable location and usually quiet (at least for me I have music on in the back ground)
Make sure you aren’t under emotional distress when doing this
