Could Armarouge Be Viable in VGC Meta?
Resumo
In Pokémon Champions | VGC Battles & Tournaments this thread brainstorms Armarouge viability, covering matchups into Charizard Y and Mega Floette, Psychic vs Venusaur, and Wide Guard synergy with Garchomp Sylveon Delphox lines. It compares Armarouge to Delphox and flags counters like Basculegion and Kingambit while asking for other underrated anti-meta options.
There is a ton of stuff that seems very good for it, as a fire type, he has a good matchup into Charizard Y and Mega Floette. It also has the psychic typing which helps it into Venusaur if u can take an Earth Power, and it also has Wide Guard which is really good with all the Garchomp Sylveon Floette Charizard Delhpox stuff we have been seeing. And i know Delphox seems better because its more threatening and is faster and has levitate for Venusaur, but Armarouge isn't a Mega, so its a cheap version of Mega Delphox who can double its speed once u hit it with anything. The problem is of course, that is bad into Basculegion and Kingambit
Also are there any other Anti Meta underrated mons that could be used?
