I feel like I’m struggling with my Lucario team cus I have no secondary mega and no way to get hit some ghost types without relying on terrain pulse for everything I love terrain pulse but part of me wants to try something new but I’m not sure what yet

I did but it prevents me from using Arcanine
Jolteon can manually set electric terrain and is quite fast
But to be honest, I can't think of many ways to get the team moving whit terrain pulse

On top of that I’m starting to despise steel beam it’s a garbage move
Anyone making a team with it is an idiot

Yeah but when I used it it backfired horribly and cost me a game
So I hate it
I just don’t know what else I can do for it
The real problem is that Lucario suffers from not having the right STAB move for this meta
It would have been pretty cool if he became a psychic type and had access to something like Expanding Force
On top of its lack of spread

Plus my struggles against dragons

They never sit right with me and don’t make sense to me idk why

Both teams can work
There’s also another really good staraptor team but its a little bit harder to use
Its like DAMN good if you use it well though
They definitely look a lot like some of the teams that were played in m-b

You can consider dual wingbeat over brave bird on staraptor if you want it to stay alive longer
Venusaur Sleep powder seems like a problem for this team though, maybe Mega Raichu X but I don’t know to be honest
You can also use Sylveon over Primarina
I prefer Primarina because of the good water coverage but if you’re worried about archaludon electro shots then you can do sylveon
I'd stick with the team that uses Whimsicot; it allows you to get certain key KOs, although the Psychic terrain is definitely a problem. Perhaps swapping Incin for Rilla would be a good idea

So you can tailwind, outspeed venu and KO through sash with dual wingbeat

It's good and reliable, but in your case it allows you to get more responses against certain leads

oh yeah whims can work, but if you are doing that id replace moonblast with energy ball for at least SOME grass coverage vs swampert for example
since you have other fairy type coverage

yeah i think thats what he was doing, which is why i told him to put energy ball on whims
also leo people normally build ychu with more bulk because its base special attack + zap cannon base power is normally enough for what you need anyway

rilla normally wants 113 iirc since youve got tailwind
so he can outspeed the timid/jolly Z megas
