Resumo
In the Pokémon Champions | VGC Battles & Tournaments server, members are actively collaborating to refine hyper offensive team compositions. This discussion focuses on optimizing move sets, such as the utility of Taunt and Rock Slide, to counter rain teams and Trick Room setups. By analyzing team iterations and EV spreads, the community helps players maintain offensive pressure throughout competitive matches.

Idek why im still trying
Taunt is certainly a choice
So i can get my tailwind setup and get myself some offensive pressure but the problem is that i end up losing said pressure by about turn 3
It is
Isn't quad fake out a bit overkill?
You have gale wings what is stopping you from using tailwind?
Tbh im about to stop running taunt all together since it rarely helps
No see its afterwards
I am just confused how taunt is helping you set up tailwind at all
So the version im running rn (v 5.0) i have rock slide on sneasler
Its to give me the ability to stop tr
Ah
No
Since i have no options for if it goes live and even then, ive had more then a few games go badly even after taunting
No data yet, have yet to find a place where id want to but i had been using mach punch
I just need help finding a way to stop losing offensive pressure so fast
Idk what im missing that i cant seem to keep the pressure on
Prob for like coverage
I was just thinking that cause in testing i ran into like 3 straight rain teams that tore me to shreds
Early versions i was running had xchu on them tbh
Im not 100% sure if i shouldnt throw it back on tbh
Even though it would get rid of my sun setter but im not too terribly broken up about it
I actually sometimes will run u-turn but stormy is right, i need ways to deal with peli and rain
I think im gonna fix booms evs so it can fast enough to deal with peli

Hows this
Well im still trying to finetune it and find any extra juice left
I just got jumpscared with bellydrum zard x
Ok so ig my plan to deal with tr now is just hit em really hard
Your team would def classify as hyper offensive in my book; if you are struggling to keep up the pressure, I think it may be the playmaking more then the team.
Lay down and cry
could move taunt to sneasler if you wanted to
I was using taunt tbh
seeing as you have 4 fake outs already
This is the update (like the 6th or 7th)
honestly, have you considered whims over talon flame
can encore TR setters outside psychic terrain, give yous tailwind and fairy damage, and a flexible fourth move slot for things like sunny day or fake tears or charm
I kinda have but in a lot of ways, talonflame offers more
What is talon offering your team
besides a third weakness to water and second 4x weakness to rock
Priority tailwind and dual wingbeat (though part of me wants to switch to something with more burst damage) quick guard to keep my team from getting fake outed and its surpisingly bulkier then i expect even though i have like 2 evs into hp
Fair
So:
- Whims gives prio tw, even when not at full.
- Moonblast gives you a reliable way to hit dragons, flying coverage doesn't really help you all that much when you have Yard and Incin already.
- Quick guard absolutely is a difference but are you worried about opposing fakeout when running 3-4 of your own
- It is not bulky, i promise you.
Thats my thoughts, feel free to do what feels best
Like im kinda not gonna seriously play the team rn, cause it almost feels incomplete
Like theres a version of it that is just waiting for me and i wanna see what reg m-d has in store
Kinda especially when im hyper offensive and wanna be able to throw hands and end games by turn 8
Still cant beat rain
I think i just didnt play as well as i could have tbh
