White Herb Sneasler is worth testing, but I’d treat it as a different mode rather than a straight upgrade. Electric Seed lets Raichu X trigger Unburden on demand; White Herb needs a stat drop first, so check how often you actually get that activation.
For the Raichu Y matchup being discussed, don’t Mega your own Raichu automatically. Keeping Lightning Rod protects your rain pieces from single-target Electric attacks, whereas Mega X trades that away for terrain. That also leaves Mega Golisopod available. I’d practise those two modes before replacing a member of the six.
