Inktober (with a twist...)

@🂡 Aptitude 🂡 Hello and welcome to the Creative Hub! This October, I wanted to host what's called Inktober, which if you aren't familiar with it is a yearly event that was created by Jake Parker to draw something--anything--daily for the month of October. However....

We will host Sparktober!!

The Sparktober Challenge will basically be every day, regardless of your creative niche, you create, improve, or continue the wip of anything you'd like, and then can post it in Ꮪꮲꭺꭱꮶꭲꮻᏼꭼꭱ. At the end of the month, we will showcase the best work in #╭·-͟͟͞➳❥-diamond・exhibition🗝🂡✧⋆˚ for everyone to see!

So...what counts as creativity? Anything made BY YOU for this challenge. Can be art, designs, a poem, a song, developer code, ANYTHING you desire so long as it is human made.

I hope you enjoy this first challenge, and let us know feedback of what you think or if you want to add subchallenges in between in #╭·-͟͟͞➳❥-royal・blueprints🗝♚✧⋆˚.

Thanks, and let the creativity begin!!

@Events

Hi guys! Welcome to the newcomers 🎉

I just had a question and it was related to what would you like to get out of being in Nyxalmaris? Like what events would you like to see?

In the Ꮯꭱꭼꭺꭲꮖꮩꭼ/Ꮐꭱꮻꮃꭲꮋ Ꮋꮜᏼ we do have an announcement Channel there for updates on things and another for events/challenges that we'll host, but is there anything else? Like do you want to do weekly movie Nights, dedicated work time, listening parties, things like that?

If you can, drop some suggestions in #╭·-͟͟͞➳❥-royal・blueprints🗝♚✧⋆˚ of what you'd like to see, do, and get out of the server!

Thanks yall 🫶🏼 I'll be making some other announcements over the coming days between server map, how to remove channels you're not interested in (if you don't already know how), etc.

Last Update about this: I've decided to avoid further meh-ness, I have created 60 colours across 10 colour families to choose from in #┊kaleidoscope✧ﾟ₊˚・. It works the same as the roles in #┊sigil・selection and the picture is a perfect match to each role colour as it would appear (I made sure of it on excel and the bot cmds channel). Sorry for the delay btw; I have been marathoning Transformers (RIP Peter Cullen)

Welcome to the new peeps! Server Map coming soon, but feel free to introduce yourselves in #┊soul・registry~
Also to be able to post in Ꮯꭱꭼꭺꭲꮖꮩꭼ/Ꮐꭱꮻꮃꭲꮋ Ꮋꮜᏼ or see Ꮯꭱꭼꭺꭲꮖꮩꭼ/Ꮐꭱꮻꮃꭲꮋ Ꮩꮻꮖꮯꭼ categories, please pick up @🂡 Aptitude 🂡. Nyxal role can only view them at most.

Lastly, if you want Mod Roles or Partnership Manager, please dm me! These are available:

˖✧𓃦☽ Ꮪꭲꭺғғ Nꭼꭼꭰꭼꭰ ☾𓃦✧˖

I hope you enjoy the colours and I can't wait to actually start creating with you now!

Nꭹxꭺꮮꮇꭺꭱꮖꮪ ♛✧⋆˚ Debut 🥳

Welcome to the new Nyxalmaris! Whether you're old, new, or returning, I appreciate you entering this new chapter with me as I make this shift of focus~

This is Nyx new description:

🌌⋆.˚✮☽ 18+・ꭺꭱꭲꮖꮪꭲꮖꮯ・ꮯꭱꭼꭺꭲꮖꮩꭼ・ꮇꮜꮪꮖꮯ・ꭼꮇꮲꮖꭱꭼ ꭺꭼꮪꭲꮋꭼꭲꮖꮯ・ꮪғꮃ・Nꭹxꭺꮮꮇꭺꭱꮖꮪ is a new realm for all forms of creatives 𓃦 We’re excited to meet the people who’ll make it feel like home 𓃦 Not the artsy type? We've got channels for everyone, so pull up and grow with us! ☾✮˚.⋆🌌

I hope to get more creatives in here to make new, genuine connections

While the only thing I have yet to make is our server map in #┊wayfinder✮⋆˙, please feel free to explore the server and post as you see fit! The category Ꮯꭱꭼꭺꭲꮖꮩꭼ/Ꮐꭱꮻꮃꭲꮋ Ꮋꮜᏼ is the grand central for artists, musicians, writers, and other creative forms alike (including philosophy, ethics, etc). Additionally, it has it's own separate (and private) category for Voice Channels as well~ To gain access, just pick up the @🂡 Aptitude 🂡 role!

New roles compared to old Nyx are (but not limited to) @🀀 Contractee 🀀, @🀃 Contractor 🀃, @🂡 Aptitude 🂡, a collection of ethnic roles, a collection of creative related roles, and more.

I hope you can find enjoyment in this new server that wasn't possible in the last, and I look forward to creating with you all!

⚠️ Business, Trading & Self-Promotion Disclaimer

This server allows members to promote themselves, connect with others, and offer help or advice when asked. As mods, we act as a civil moderator during the connection process only — meaning we may take reasonable steps to check that a member seems legit (consistent info, no obvious impersonation, no red flags) before helping connect them with another user.

Once two users are connected, everything moves to DMs and is fully out of our hands. This includes:

• Any transaction, payment, trade, commission, or exchange of goods/services.
• Any check-ins, follow-ups, quality control, deadlines, or delivery.
• Any advice given between members — including general (non-legal) guidance — is opinion only, not professional advice, and comes with no guarantee of accuracy or outcome.
• We do not receive, hold, process, or mediate any money on behalf of members, and we are not a party to any deal made.

What this means for liability:

• Our legitimacy check is a good-faith courtesy, not a guarantee. Passing it does not mean a user is verified, trustworthy, or safe to do business with long-term.
• The mod team is not liable for scams, unfinished work, non-payment, bad advice, miscommunication, or any dispute that happens in DMs after a connection is made.
• Doing business or exchanging advice with anyone here is entirely at your own risk. Vet people yourself, use secure payment methods, and don't send money or sensitive info based solely on our initial check.

What we still take seriously:

• Fake businesses, fake identities, impersonation, or misrepresenting who you are or what you offer.
• Scamming, attempting to scam, or exploiting the connection process to defraud members.
• Any confirmed scam or fake-user activity results in an immediate ban, no warnings.

Report suspicious activity to the mod team as soon as you notice it — before money or sensitive info changes hands.
